Highlight of the week: running with Emily and Kim! I got to “sleep in” a bit and do a long run with these lovely ladies at 7am! It was such a beautiful morning! Since I’ve started doing long weekend runs, I’ve discovered more forest preserves/trails than the past four-ish years I’ve lived in Illinois! LOVE it!
This was my last long run before Fort2Base 10NM (11.5 miler) next Sunday! The training plan for this week is pretty low key and calls for one cross training day and two short runs (3 miles each). I think I’m ready for it- wish me luck!
