We’ve had a pretty amazing year with Bryce in terms of health.
Knock on wood.
Knock on all.the.wood.
Both he and I have {for the most part} remained healthy. Neither of us have had to go to the doctor for a sick visit. I think a large part of that had to do with the fact that he had exclusively breastmilk for the first 6-8 months of his life. Another big factor I think would have to be the fact that Bryce isn’t in daycare. Sure, we’ve had a sniffle here and there, but overall, we’ve been blessed with good health.
But being the prepared mom that I am, I always have something on hand to take care of any ailments Bryce may have. I had heard of the Little Remedies® products before he was even born, and already had some Little Remedies Gas Relief Drops that I used with Bryce that we found success with, so when I had the opportunity to partner with them and try out Little Remedies® NEW Probiotic Plus Electrolytes product, I was more than thrilled.
Because I’ve been a fan of Little Remedies since the beginning of motherhood, I know that they make each of their products with the fewest and most natural ingredients without sacrificing the product’s effectiveness. A win in my book- I know it’s a safe choice for my little guy.
A little more about the Little Remedies Probiotic Plus Electrolytes: It’s an ideal Dietary Supplement for babies and little ones to help keep the digestive system in balance and supports immune function.* It also contains electrolytes to provide vital minerals and nutrients to help support hydration.* In fact, it’s the only pediatric product that combines a probiotic and electrolytes in 1 convenient packet.
It’s also gluten free and has no artificial flavors, artificial dyes or parabens. It comes in a berry flavor and dissolves quickly and has been shown to reduce crying by 60% in as little as 1 week. Crazy!
When those sick days do strike, I always like to be prepared and keep a supply of products on hand just in case. At first, I just had a drawer full of random items in Bryce’s nursery and in our kitchen, but I found that I couldn’t find things I needed quickly, and often times the things I needed where on the other level of the house (doesn’t it always happen that way?!) That said, I decided to make my own portable medicine cabinet. While I was at Target, I grabbed my supplies.
First, I grabbed Little Remedies Probiotic Plus Electrolytes and a few other medicine related supplies like bandages, ointments, etc. (Note: this product is actually located in the digestive aisle, NOT the baby department!) And now through 5/14, if you buy 1 Little Remedies product, you get a $5 Target Gift Card!
Then I found a cute wooden container to house all the supplies. (I also grabbed a slightly larger white plastic container– haven’t decided which size will work best yet!) I found a cute letter B to add to the front too, and plan on using my chalkboard pen to write the rest of the letters of his name across the front.
Then I added in the other items, like:
- Thermometer
- Nasal squeezie (or whatever you call them!)
- Bandages
- Vapor chest rub
- Little Remedies Gas Relief Drops
- Little Remedies Probiotic Plus Electrolytes
- Anti-itch ointment
- Diaper rash ointment
- Nail clippers (always good to have on hand, I’ve discovered!)
- Fever meds
- Syringes in various sizes
- Baby tooth gel
Easy little project, and now I have everything I need in one spot for when those sick days come. Good peace of mind for this Mama :-)
