Wantable Style Edit Review, September 2015
Another month, another Wantable box! So far, they have really been picking items for me that fit my style. My only complaint is that there is a lag in shipping. I am scheduled to have my Wantable box on the 22nd of the month, and I just got mine on October 8th. Some months it’s faster, some months it’s slower. Much slower. Just wish it was a bit more consistent!
Let’s get down to the unboxing, shall we?! Yet again, I asked for classic, casual pieces in neutral colors. No hi-low or trendy tops (i.e. split back, etc.) Also mentioned that I loved BB Dakota items since I knew they were a featured designer. As always, I included my Pinterest board with Wantable items I’ve seen on other bloggers.
Here’s what I got…
Lumiere Cowl Neck Sweater ($59)
Fabrizio Gianni Ankle Pant ($129)
Loved the sweater- great neutral that would go with a lot. Not a fan of the hemline…it was longer on the hips and shorter in the midsection. Back it went. The pants were AMAZING! Dressy material, but without a zipper/fly. It fit well around the waist without sagging and felt like yoga pants but would be totally work appropriate. Very flattering pants, but are unfortunately a bit too dressy for my lifestyle (and the price tag was a little on the high end!) Note: I am wearing these pants in the rest of the photos as well.
BB Dakota Kayson Jacket ($88)
I had requested BB Dakota items (and pinned this specific one) so was glad to see it in my box to see how it’d fit. Loved the draping and sizing overall- very nice professional look if you want something a little less traditional than a black blazer. The back was just a little too short for my liking though. Bummer!
French Connection Polly Plains Sleeveless Top ($38)
Cute top in a lovely aqua color, but as you can see, I had to wear a cami underneath it. For $38, I want a top that can be worn without a cami all the time! Loved the plain color, as it would be remixable, but that’s about it.
Jack Rufio Top ($60)
I requested this item on my Pinterest board as well. It’s by BB Dakota and has a crochet lace trim, which really dressed up the reverse french terry on the top. Super cute for summer nights with shorts or in fall with denim or leggings. LOVE IT! This one was a keeper!
So in the end, did Wantable get my style? I’d say yes! The pieces were definitely a nice mix of classic items in neutral colors like I asked for, some just didn’t fit all that well on my body type. And I got two items that I pinned, so thumbs up!
