Wantable Style Edit Review: July 2015
Ok, so I know it’s late August, but I just got my July Wantable Style Edit a couple days ago. I was scheduled to get it shipped on 7/22, but I kept waiting and waiting. Finally, I emailed them and asked what was going on and they said they were waiting to receive the right inventory to make my edit a good one. They also suggested if I update my profile to include more options (colors, styles, price ranges, etc.), I would likely get it sooner. So kind of a bummer I had to wait nearly a month for my July edit, but as you’ll see in the pieces I got, I do feel like they matched up my style really well.
So here goes!
Project Social T- V-Neck
Like: Basic, classic solid top, casual, remixable
Dislike: Too sheer (don’t want to have to wear a cami underneath all my tees), and really dislike hi-low tops- just don’t work on me!
Verdict: Return
BB Dakota Beretta Sweater
Like: Love the oatmeal color, super soft, good length
Dislike: A little too sheer for me, especially for that price point. And although the detailing on the sleeves and chest is nice, that would get ruined by my little guy grabbing at it or in the washer somehow. I just know it.
Verdict: Return (plus, I do own an oatmeal sweater from last year that is very similar)
Olive & Oak Pleated Tank
Like: LOVE the color, so fun! The pleats are fantastic and I like the style of it! Is it super practical for my lifestyle? Not really, but it’d work for a date night or special event.
Dislike: The torso is super short. I’m only 5’5” and consider myself to have an “average” build and it was more of a belly shirt on me.
Verdict: Return
Jack Nyx Jacket
Like: I am a sucker for an olive cargo jacket. I’ve made tons of outfits with a couple different versions so clearly, I’m a fan. Plus, there is a hood which I don’t have in my current jacket.
Dislike: It was a size medium and ran really large, especially on the bottom.
Verdict: Return, can’t justify adding yet another jacket to my closet when I already have one!
Dex Wide Elastic Waistband Legging
Like: Fun ankle zip detail and love the wide waistband. Very comfy. The seams down the front and back go down the middle of your leg, which makes it a bit dressier. Nice price point. (I’m wearing these leggings in all the photos above, FYI.)
Dislike: A little too tight for my liking. These were a medium.
Verdict: Return, I already own black leggings.
Overall, I was pleased with this edit. I was impressed by how well they matched pieces to my style. Unfortunate that I had to wait so long, but it really was me to a T in terms of the pieces I got. Hopefully my August edit will arrive a little sooner since I adjusted my preferences!

I actually really like the high-low top on you! But you’re right, if you’re not comfortable wearing a cami under it, totally not worth it.
Thanks Becky! Yeah if it weren’t as sheer I might consider it, but oh well! Still a fun box that was totally my style- so fun!
The whole “shorter shirt” and crop top styles are driving me crazy this summer… every time I feel like I find shirts I like (workout and regular) they are crop.
Yes! I just don’t get it and don’t plan to hop on that bandwagon anytime soon!
I like the jacket the best and that is probably the only thing I would have kept, but you have one that is super similar. Hopefully there are pieces you like more next time!
I would have kept everything if I didn’t already own pieces super similar to them…shows how much they nailed my style! I was impressed!
