Today is the third and final day of “Two Pieces, Two Places: A Chicago City and Suburbs Remix.” On Monday, we started with both the snakeskin top and maroon pants, yesterday was devoted to just the snakeskin top and today’s look features just the maroon pants.
Today’s looks highlight our maroon/burgundy pants from The Loft. First of all, I give Erin huge props because she doesn’t even look cold and she is posing outside in the Windy City. On a rooftop. In the snow. Incredible!
Anyways, I love how she layered a striped cardigan with a royal blue blouse. I never would have thought of this color combination! It works so well doesn’t it?!
I also decided to do some layering, but stuck with more of a monochromatic look with a sheer blouse that had a bit of texture to it. I layered a cocoon sweater and belted it to define the waist a bit more. Layering is essential in these cold, Chicago winters!
Be sure to check out all the details of Erin’s look over at Loop Looks! Thanks to Erin for collaborating with me on this fun remix! I hope we can do it again soon and remix some other items for you!
And clearly, I love these pants. I tend to pair the pants up with neutral, cream/camel colors!
