With the month of March ending, I wanted to start a series where I do a round up of my blogged outfits for the month. Thought it’d be a fun way to see what I wore over the past few weeks—especially since March will be the last full month that I’m pregnant (eek!) November 2014 Clothing Budget
Now that I’m nearly half way through my pregnancy (ahhh!), I’ve noticed the bump getting larger and many of my clothes aren’t fitting very well. (It’s all about comfort at this point…and warmth.) Needless to say, I stocked up on some more maternity essentials. I took advantage of Old Navy’s pre-Black Friday sale and got some great deals, which took up the majority of my budget. October 2014 Clothing Budget
For this month’s October 2014 clothing budget, I did quite a bit of spending. I feel all of the pieces I got were warranted, since much of it included maternity wear! I’ve been seeing a lot of capsule wardrobe recaps from bloggers, with one of my favorites being Kate from The Small Things Blog. So if I can get my act together, I’d love to do a maternity themed capsule wardrobe…it makes so much sense! Until then, here’s where my moolah went this month: BOTTOMS -Secret Fit Maternity Read More
Goodies in the mail: Fabletics and Le Tote
It’s always great to treat yourself, and I’ve opted to do it with fitness apparel and clothes via Fabletics and Le Tote. Surprising right?! Anyways, I’ve gotten a few goodies in the mail lately that I thought I’d share with you…first up is my latest outfit this month from Fabletics! I got my first outfit for $24.95 (you can too!) and blogged about my experience here. Then I got my second outfit. This month, I opted for this super comfortable ensemble: This was the Keystone outfit, Read More
Le Tote Review
So I’ve been hearing a lot about Stitch Fix and Le Tote. Both are similar in that they are fee-based subscriptions where you can get fun new apparel & accessories shipped to your door to try on at home. You keep (and purchase) what you like, and send back the rest. My first Stitch Fix doesn’t ship until mid May, but I already received my first Le Tote box, so wanted to review that now! (I’ll plan to compare the two for a future blog post!) What I like about Le Tote is that it Read More
January Clothing Budget
Image courtesy of Greater than Rubies. Earlier this month, I decided to drastically alter my spending on clothing, buying only one item a month. Of course, there were a few exceptions as well, including this one: Any income I make from selling clothing or accessories I no longer want, I can use to purchase something else, or put it towards the cost of my one item. That said, this month was an unusual one in the fact that I did clean out my closet and earned some income with which I Read More
I’m Cutting Myself Off: My Updated Clothing Resolution
I’m really trying to make an effort this year to remix my clothes. I have so many nice items in my closet that it’s kind of ridiculous. I have more than enough to get by and I don’t need to be spending money on more clothes when there are much more deserving areas in our finances where that money can..and should be going. And since jumping into the blogging world, it’s been an overload of brands and labels and the latest and greatest trends. Admittedly, I’ve found myself scouring the Read More
