As a new mom, my style has changed quite a bit. My summer style, for instance, is all about casual, relaxed outfits that I am comfortable in all day and are nursing friendly. Often times, that means a simple tee and either shorts or a skirt of some sort if I want to be a little more dressed up. As a result, I was looking to add a few more quality tees to my closet that I can wear on the daily, but I didn’t want to spend a ton of money. I mean, they are just tees that are going to get covered in baby drool anyways!
To aid me in my bargain hunting, I checked out Splender, a great site where you can earn cash back on your online purchases.

A bit more about Splender:

-
Stack cash back, coupons, & offers to increase your savings (Example: 15% off sale + extra 30% off coupon + 5% cash back = big savings)
-
Great deals and cash back all in one place: no more jumping from site to site to find a great price, coupons, free shipping offers, or cash back.
-

How does it work?
-
Select a store at the Splender site
-
Click a deal or offer you want and you’ll be transferred to that store’s website
-
Complete your purchase on the store’s website as you normally would
-
The store then pays Splender a commission for sending you there to shop
-
Splender shares that money with you in the form of cash back (this video also gives a good explanation)
When you log into your account, you can clearly see your pending cash back (typically 3-5 days after a purchase- you also receive an email), available cash back (available 45 days from date of purchase in case you return something, etc.) and shopping history. I’ve been using it to shop at other online retailers and it’s great! You do have to have a minimum of $10 before they automatically transfer the earnings into your Paypal account (check via mail is also an option). Cash back payments are made on the last business day of every month. Very easy and seamless!
So like nearly every style out there, I took advantage of the recent Nordstrom anniversary sale and tried out the Halogen Relaxed Slub Knit U-Neck Tees. Not only were they on sale, but I was able to get another 8% cash back! Plus, you can’t beat Nordstrom’s free shipping and returns. It’s quickly becoming one of my favorite places to shop because of that.
I styled the tee four ways for you below. (Note: it does run large. I am typically a medium and I ended up exchanging for a small. These tees are lightweight and flattering and the length is just right for bending over or playing on the ground with a baby- nothing riding up! I did order a solid version of the tee in both a light and dark color, but they were a little too see through for me, and I didn’t want to have to wear a cami underneath. The striped/patterned shirts are much better and can be worn alone. I also got it in a raspberry/ivory stripe color, too!)

Skirt: J. Crew [exact, JCF option]
Wedges: Payless [exact]
I styled it with solid colors and didn’t layer much for simplicity’s sake, but this tee would go well with a blazer, cardigan, jean jacket, cargo jacket or vest too! And layer it with jewelry or a scarf in the fall with leggings or jeans and boots- the possibilities are endless!
Pop of color with the red maxi skirt
A casual look with white linen pants and a colorful sandal
Black shorts and wedges along with a statement necklace really dressed it up!
Tucking it into a skirt with wedges really classes it up- I’d wear this to church or date night!
Which look is your favorite?
Be sure to check out Splender to start saving money wherever you shop online- it’s a no brainer!

I love a good striped tee, love how you styled it. Looking put together but also functional for playing with baby. Stopping by from Tucker Up.
I love ebates, but will have to check out Splender and see which has better cash back now! Thanks for the tips!
Having a good striped tee is essential! Love the different ways you styled this. :) Your green skirt is adorable!
