Blogging editorial calendar. Social engagements. Workout/training logs. Work stuff. Appointments. To-do lists. The list goes on…
Needless to say, I live and die by my planner. Honestly, if I don’t write it down, it doesn’t get done. I love my trusty little planner (no electronic planner, Google calendars, etc. for me) and the satisfaction of crossing off something on my to-do list is oh so nice!
In the past, I’ve always relied on the planners from Target. They are super cute, affordable ($10-ish), and they get the job done as a “bare bones” planner. But as time went on, I had more and more things I needed to write down, and no room for it. I had loose papers I stuck in between pages, and I couldn’t attach a pen to it. I also carry it everywhere with me and it was taking a beating…
But then I heard about the Erin Condren Life Planner. I had seen a few bloggers post about how amazing it was. So when I got the chance to review her products, I jumped at it with sheer excitement, like a kid in a candy store.
After browsing through all of the beautiful designs, I chose the Party Pops Life Planner. Once you select the design (the base planner is $50), there are tons of options for customization and add-ons. I ended up adding on a pen holder for a few bucks, which is well worth it in my opinion.
It arrived and was packaged so beautifully…and it even included a few custom gift tags and stickers!
Once it arrived I spent a couple hours filling it up, adding stickers and notes. The weekly layout is so nice with lots of space for writing, and it breaks up the day my morning, day and night. There is also a laminated book mark that clips into the spiral so you can easily flip to the current week. GENIUS!

There are also two slots for holding loose pieces of paper, receipts, flyers, etc. And there is a clear plastic zippered pouch to hold smaller items, which I love!
Here’s what I’ve noticed about this planner so far…
-The cover is thick so that it doesn’t bend, tear or rip. Super high quality and can make it through the year, which I love.
-I love that this planner is spiral bound. And not just like my old planners where the spiral would get loose, catch on things, etc. This spiral is heavy duty.
-There are plenty of labeled stickers and blank stickers in the back that you can use for birthdays, anniversaries, appointments, etc. The blank ones work well to keep track of things that aren’t already labeled, like my monthly book club, for example.
-The designs are super vibrant and colorful. I love looking at my planner or having it open because there is always a fun quote or cute design that catches my eye! There are a lot of inspirational and fun quotes throughout the entire book that I like as well.
-Love the extra pages in the back for taking notes, tracking vacation days, or a running list of races that I want to check out. There are also “Birthdays and Anniversaries” pages at the very beginning. There’s a column for each month with the dates already listed, so I can keep track of all of those birthdays in one place and keep greeting cards in the folder so I have it with me when it’s ready to send!
-Lastly, the weekly layout not only has space for daily tasks, but for each week, there is a “weekly goals & notes” column. This helps me keep those items separate and top of mind.
The only two “cons” I can think of was that the shipping took a little longer than expected and the price can be high ($50+). But the price for a high quality, functional and stylish planner that helps keep me on top of things is well worth it in my opinion!

Oooh it’s so pretty! One of the student workers in my office has n Erin Condren planner and she loves it! It is seriously so pretty! I can see why you like it so much :)
I love how it has the weekly AND monthly page views, so that way I can view at a glance what is happening this month but have the details for individual days on the weekly pages.
I love all of Erin Condren things! This planner is awesome! I love how much space there is to write everything down.
Love my ECLP and love how quickly you got to work decorating!!!
I love the colors!! I’m a sucker for a cute planner ;)
I have a Target planner right now and it’s definitely missing a pen holder and a place to keep misc. papers. Those features would be so useful!
I love the bright colors and the weekly/monthly set up.
YAY! You got one! So glad you did! Aren’t you just super organized and happy now?! I haven’t been forgetting things lately and it makes me feel happy!

These look so pretty!! I think I’d love the Morning/Day/Night sections of daily planning the most!
These planners look awesome! I mainly use Google calendars, but I love the idea of having a paper one, especially for goal setting and planning.
Honestly, I love the little stickers!
What I love most about the ECLP are the beautiful, laminated covers!!
I like the slots for holding receipts and the zippered pouch.
i am definitely someone who needs and uses a planner year-round for work + personal events, and what i’ve found missing on the ones i buy is extra space to write myeslf notes or to-do lists, so i love that about these! a spiral bound planner is a must have as well. these planners just look SO nice, thanks for the giveaway!
Theyre so functional, and the subsections make it really use to use the planner
My favorite feature is how she broke doen the days in boxes vs lines. It seems like it would be a lot easier to seperate your day out visually that way.
Love it!
I love my teacher planner! I would love to buy a life planner!
