Ahh fall. Probably my favorite time of year! And what could be more fall than this outfit? Booties. Plaid. Puffer Vest. Check mark! And sometimes fall is a bit unpredictable (at least where I live), so adding this puffer vest is a nice layer for warmth, but doesn’t make me overheat. SO glad I grabbed this vest as part of my clothing budget last month…I think it will get lots of use!
Style tip: When you wear ankle booties- be sure to wear low cut socks. Nothing worse than seeing socks peek out of those boots! And try rolling up your jeans versus tucking them into your boots. It will make for a cleaner look!
So, what else do I love about fall (besides the clothes of course?)
The leaves a changin…and the lovely weather.
Football. (Go Packers!)
Corn mazes, hay rides, apple picking.
Halloween (and getting to figure out Bryce’s 1st costume!)
Annnnd the pumpkin flavored everything.
But really, this about sums it up…

I just bought that vest after years of lusting and am so excited to wear it all fall!
That vest looks great! I am trying not to buy all the puffer vests, but it’s difficult. They just work so well in the fall!
They really do! I held out last fall but knew I wanted one…just a little warmer than a cargo vest!
This outfit just screams FALL! I love the navy puffer vest paired with the plaid shirt!

This is definitely what I think of when I think of fall. Just add a warm latte in my hand, and we are good to go!
What a quintessential fall outfit! Love the vest and booties!
Agreed- can’t get much more fall than that…unless I was holding a PSL :-)
Well this is just fall perfection! I love how the top comes off a little dressier – I love plaid in theory but sometimes it feels not quite polished enough for me. This one looks perfectly polished but also laid back with a puffer vest (which, yes, was a super smart buy – I have the same one in cream and wore it so much last year that I’m contemplating getting the navy too!). Stopping by from Bri’s linkup…
I totally agree on the plaid conundrum Anne! I think this helps that it isn’t a traditional button up, but more of a popover with a V cut. I am debating getting a cream one as well so I can create outfits with black…
