I always love reading insights into other people’s routines and schedules, so thought I’d share my own morning routine with you today.
On the days when I am not working, I typically do the same thing. I wake up, in theory before Bryce, and the first thing I do is write down the highlights from the previous day in this memory book I got from Amazon, usually because I forget to do it the night before if we’re being honest. It’s been awesome reflecting on the day and will be even more rewarding to read back what I wrote over time.
Next up, I head downstairs for a few minutes alone before the craziness of the day begins. Bryce typically goes down at 7:30 pm and he wakes up around 6:45 am. I’m usually up a little before 6 and although I wish I could sleep more, I find that this quiet time helps me get some tasks off my to do list and leaves me with a better focus on the day than a few more minutes of sleep would. I love my little quiet time in the morning by myself. Sometimes it’s only a few minutes, but I’ll take it and I love being able to start my day before Bryce is up!
I grab a hot cup of coffee, take my Nature Made® multi vitamin and either take care of a few things on the computer or watch the news on TV. It’s definitely become a habit to take my vitamins in the morning and I’m glad, otherwise I would definitely forget. But it’s important to make them a priority, because a Mama’s mind-body health is oh so important for her littles!
Nature Made® is the #1 Pharmacist Recommended brand for many key dietary supplement categories.* Nature Made® has a variety of vitamins, minerals, and supplements (VMS) to help support nutritional gaps with your health goals in mind ranging from Digestive Support, Heart Health & Function, Energy Metabolism, Women’s Health and much more! † And if you are looking beyond vitamins, Nature Made® Probiotics: Nature Made® Advanced Dual Action Probiotic has been clinically studied and provides dual support to both your small and large intestine for comprehensive coverage to help support digestive balance and healthy gut flora.†
Once my body has moved around a bit and if Bryce is still sleeping, I’ll get my workout done for the day. Usually, it’s T25 or 21 Day Fix DVDs- they are effective and 30 minutes or less- perfect! On the days when I run out of time to do a DVD in the early morning, I’ll do it during naptime or even during the day while Bryce plays (he loves doing squats with me- adorable!), or…we will head out for a stroller run while the weather is still nice.
Then, it’s a quick shower and Bryce is usually up and at ‘em! I get him dressed for the day and we make some breakfast together and start our day!
There you have it- a glimpse into our morning routine. Nothing too crazy, but it works for the time being!
