If you asked me to describe my summer style or uniform, this would be it. A lightweight cotton dress, a jean jacket or cargo jacket for layering, a pair of trusty sandals and some shades. I’ve been wearing this outfit, or some version of it, nonstop. Like the black and white version of this dress (yes I bought two, clearly, I have a thing for dresses. And stripes.) In fact, I packed it in my suitcase for a work trip too (a casual one at that). Yep, I’m traveling this week- headed out to Cape Cod for a staff retreat. I’ve always been fascinated by the NE coast, and am excited to see it in person. We’ll be in a couple rental houses right on the water, and I intend to soak up every minute of it!

Anyways, back to the clothes. You’ll notice that the majority of my outfit is from Old Navy. They are killing it for me style-wise these days. On trend, affordable, easy returns and of course– great sales and promos. I’ve got some SuperCash that is valid now and I already have a few things sitting in my cart, like this black maxi dress, swing dress, gladiator sandals, a pair of jean shorts, and possibly this romper, something I’ve been curious to try. Oh and what the heck, maybe another pair of my favorite workout capris while I’m at it.

    A lot of my wardrobe, workout clothes, and my daughter’s clothing is from Old Navy! I swear their prices are amazing! This is totally something I would wear-and have! Love the addition of that pretty pink necklace!
