When it comes to holiday looks, I love a good buffalo plaid button down and fun, trendy sequin skirts as much as the next gal, but you just can’t go wrong with the classics. And it doesn’t get more classic than ivory and black.

I’ve been wearing this Madewell tie-waist sweater nonstop since I got it. It’s warm and cozy, and front tie belt gives it a fun detail to elevate it beyond a standard issue sweater. I paired it with black denim and d’orsay flats and a simple gold necklace and wore it for an Advent Tea at church. Then I wore the sweater a couple weeks prior with a geometric print skirt for work, then yet again with jeans while out and about. I’d say it’s getting some good mileage already!

What do you plan to wear for the holidays? Cozy + comfy, glitz + glam or a combo perhaps? I know Christmas Day for me will likely be pajamas. Alll day.
