A few weeks ago, I saw an offer on Facebook to sign up for a BeautyBox from Kohl’s. I’ve seen similar beauty box offers from Target everyone once and a while and decided to see what it was about (hey, it’s free, right?!)
To introduce their new, expanded beauty department, Kohl’s put together some of their most popular brand names and favorite products.
My package arrived today, and I am amazed at the contents! I’m talking full-sized items!
My box contained, Pur Minerals Primer (regularly $31), which I can’t wait to try out. I’m getting low on my current primer and am considering a change, so I hope this brand works well with my skin! The primer is “clinically proven to brighten and firm skin.”
I also got a small sample of Mariah Carey’s Dreams fragrance (reg $39-49). It has a floral scent with “notes of salted caramel apple, honeysuckle, Madagascar vanilla, patchouli and warm musk.” I personally didn’t smell all those things, but it did smell nice overall!
In addition to that fragrance, was a full size Vera Wang Pink Princess Fragrance (reg $45!!) This also had a delightful floral smell, but with fruit notes as well. The bottle itself it quite flashy and is covered in glitter, which I’m not a fan of because it gets EVERYWHERE (this glitter complex also applies to holiday cards for me too…anyone else?!) But…I am completely out of perfume so the timing on this is perfect!
Next up was a Real Techniques Fine Liner Brush (reg $6). This is perfect for eye makeup, and allows for precise application. The current eyeliner brush that came with the eyeliner gets so clumpy and doesn’t work so well, so I’m excited to try this out!
Rounding out the box was another full size Hydroxatone Revitalizing Microdermabrasion (reg $29!!) This product gently exfoliates, smooths and refines the skin. It claims to reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and large pores, while minimizing the look of age spots and hyperpigmentation. I got a similar small sample in my Birchbox and really enjoyed the exfoliation, so I can’t wait to try this too!
Overall I was really impressed with these items. Kohl’s is really re-vamping their beauty department—seems like a similar move with JC Penney’s bringing in Sephora. But in the case of Kohl’s, they always have coupons and Kohl’s Cash promotions so I’m thinking you could score some great beauty products here for less!
Did you get a BeautyBox from Kohl’s? What did you get? Best beauty box you’ve received?

Wow! What a great beauty box!
Yeah I was blown away that it was FREE and had full sized stuff! I think Birchbox and other beauty boxes need to take a hint and follow suit!

I saw this offer a long time ago on Facebook. I feel like Kohl’s offered this as a limited time promotion but keep checking their page. It was free.
