By the looks of it, I did a lot of shopping this month! Thank goodness I hit the jackpot in extra income this month. Any income I earn as a result of blogging I typically put towards clothing. This month, I was able to cash out my ShopSense affiliate link earnings and did a couple sponsored campaigns, which really helped me out!
I was really excited to score the Kate Spade crossbody, which I had been oogling over for some time to replace my Coach crossbody, which is now going on eBay. I feel it’s much more classic and the zippered pockets are much better than what I had in my previous one.
I also picked up quite a few solid colored items, which I felt have been missing in my closet because everything else is patterned so I needed some simple plain colors. And J.Crew Factory is having a 50% off sale, so I picked up a few things, including the cargo vest that I am SO excited about. It’s definitely going to be a workhorse in my 20×30 summer remix challenge (stay tuned—I will preview my 20 items tomorrow!)
I hope to really reel it in next month as I don’t expect to earn that kind of income again. The 20×30 remix will definitely help me to work with what I have! Otherwise, I have my second StitchFix arriving next month, and the only other item I am on the hunt for is a nice jean jacket. Hoping I can stick to it!

I love that you’re using your blog income to buy clothes- so smart! I’m putting mine away for a redesign early next year. :)
It’s my way of treating myself- so when I get some extra income it’s awesome! And that’s a great idea to save for!
A utility vest is definitely on my fall wardrobe wishlist, it will look great with striped tops so that def was a great score! How do you think the size compares to other places? I went to an outlet yesterday and didn’t see it, and unfortunately it’s too far for me to travel to regularly….and I have the same active shorts from Target! The store close to me was having a buy one get one 50percent off sale and some things were already reduced. I ended up buying three pairs of shorts and three sports bras. Gotta love Target, but I always say it can be a dangerous place!

It is going to be one of my 20×30 remix pieces that I featuring starting tomorrow- I know it will be used a lot! The sizing seems pretty true to size- I got a medium (my typical size) and thought it was just right. It’s 50% off online too so hopefully it’s still in stock! And aren’t those Target shorts great? I got a slightly different style in my budget last month and had to try these on clearance…and then a top somehow made its way into my cart. Oh Target :-)
How nice you were able to offset so much of your spending with blogging income! Great month! I love that pencil skirt and your wedges! Super cute!
Thank goodness I had that income! I knew some of it was coming so I indulged a bit :-) Next month will definitely have to reel it in!
I bought my MK hamilton bag that I’ve had my eyes on for years this weekend and it was on sale. I’ve been saving Since January and it was 40% off this past Sunday. Your Kate Spade reminded me of my purchase.

Oh that sounds gorgeous–and what a deal! That’s the best when you can treat yourself– and since you’ve waited it out it’s all that sweeter!
I love that you got the J.crew factory utility vest. My utility vest is easily one of my favorite items in my closet right now. Also… those are my absolute favorite fabletic capris. I wear them all the time, not just when working out
I LOVE that vest! I know it will be super remixable–especially in my 20×30 remix challenge that started yesterday! And the capris are SO fun! I love the camo print- so different than the other capris I have. Glad you think so too!
I’m so happy to hear that a little more money came into your blog this month – you deserve it! That bag will be something you have for years to come :)
Thanks Fran! (And I’m glad it did otherwise I would have been WAYYY over budget! Luckily, I knew most of it was coming so I shopped accordingly :-)
