Last week, I had a little surprise at my doorstep: the J’adore VoxBox from Influenster! This is the second VoxBox I’ve received (the first was the Sugar n’ Spice VoxBox- read about it here.)
This VoxBox had some great stuff that was full of beauty and pampering products, including:
Kiss Looks So Natural Lashes– I wore fake lashes once for a wedding. It’s a weird feeling, like I had caterpillars on my eyelids. But these look more subtle than the ones I tried, so they might be good. Saving these for the weddings in I’m in this summer!
HERSHEY KISSES Milk Chocolate– Chocolate. Family size. ‘Nuff said. I’ve been popping these Kisses nonstop since they’ve arrived (with help from the hubs)…and they may be gone already. Whoops!
Vaseline Men Spray Lotion– I got the female Spray & Go version in my last VoxBox and liked it. Hope the hubs likes his version. We both get dry skin in the winter so this will be great. Easy and quick to apply, which is just what a guy needs.
Boots Botanics Shine Away Ionic Clay Mask– I had been hoping to get a facial mask in my Birchbox, but I kept getting hair conditioner masks galore, so needless to say, I was super exited to try this facial mask out. The consistency was quite liquid-like and messy, but I’m . It looked like I was mixing concrete in the bathroom! But once it went on, it felt great. After 10 minutes, I couldn’t smile because it hardened, which meant it was doing its job by removing impurities. Hope to do this weekly for sure.
John Frieda Frizz Ease 3-Day Straight Flat Iron Spray– I have stick straight hair so I don’t use a flat iron or need straight hair for 3 days, as the product claims. And since my hair is so fine, I have to wash it every day (maaaybe every other day) otherwise it gets limp and greasy. I love the current products I use so this is going to a curly haired friend!
Red Rose Simply Indulgent Teas– I was SO hoping that I would enjoy these since the flavors sounded amazing and dessert-like. It’s a great alternative to calorie-high desserts while still getting some sweet flavor. But I am just not a tea person…the flavor didn’t work for me on its own…I even tried cream & sugar, but still didn’t care for it.
What did you get in your VoxBox? Do you use any of these products- what are your thoughts?

I didn’t know about this voxbox thing until people started instagramming it like crazy! Super jealous of the bag of candy still…
Also, I’m with you in the daily hair wash camp. I tried for a while to “train” it, but it was driving me up the wall. Instead, I choose to continue to be high maintenance…
I know- I was chocolate wasted for sure. I am happy to give you an invite to join Influenster if you want. You basically review products, connect your social media accounts, etc. The more you engage, the higher your score and the better your chances are to earn a VoxBox.
And unless they invent some amazing dry shampoo that doesn’t make my hair even more greasy than it already is after a day, I’m stuck with high maintenance too. Wah waaaaah!
Please do send the invite! I’m excited!
I’ve only gotten one Voxbox and it was ok. This one sounds pretty good though (mainly because of the chocolate)! I wish my hair was straight and I didn’t have to use all kinds of crazy products!
What was in yours? And I’m with you- the chocolate made it awesome. Hands down.
And I think all curly haired gals want straight hair and visa versa! I wish I had curls instead of stick straight hair!
I got the mommy Voxbox with Ponds BB cream, mac and cheese, bevita breakfast cookies, and Dr. Scholls insoles. Loved the insoles! Everything else was ok. :)
I would be thrilled if that showed up on my doorstep!

You should sign up for an account- happy to provide an invite to you! You provide input on products, share via social media and you get an Influenster score based on your activity. The higher the score, the higher the chance you can earn a VoxBox!
I need to try the vaseline spray (I used baby oil for a while, so it sounds right up my alley)!
Also, I am always getting mad a teas for not being as delicious as they sound. I have to remember the whole hot and watery aspect! (For example, I have mostly full box of gingerbread teas. So weird.) So, I normally stick with sleepy time, chamomile, or red tea!
You would probably love the Spray & Go then! It takes even less time to rub it in vs. baby oil too!
And I’m with you on the teas!! Yeah at least you know a sleepy tea is a pretty standard flavor so you know what to expect!
You had me at chocolate!!
I don’t subscribe to any of these types of boxes, but man, every time I see a post like this, it makes me wonder why not!!
I know right?! Influenster is not a paid subscription service. It’s actually a site where you go and provide your opinions on products, share with your networks and get a Influenster score. The higher the score, the higher your chance that you can earn a VoxBox! Happy to send you an invite if you’d like!
I hadn’t heard of these but wow – what great items! May be time to look into VoxBox!
Happy to give you an invite to Influenster if you want! You have to review products and provide your opinions to get a score, and the top scores earn VoxBoxes!
