Happy Fridayyyy! So glad it’s finally here! Looking forward to a little R&R this weekend but until then…here are some of my faves from the week. (And if you stick with me to the bottom of the post, there’s a little something special!)

I received a package of all kinds of goodies from Quest Nutrition. I recently stumbled upon Quest bars after doing the Hungry Girl diet. These bars are super high in protein and contain at least 20g in each bar, which keep me full for a long while! And unlike other protein bars, they don’t have that weird aftertaste! (They do have a small aftertaste in my opinion, but it’s not a bad one!) They are low carb and have no fillers or added sugar. I love the chocolate flavors Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, Cookies & Cream, Chocolate Brownie the bets! My snack bowl is looking fully stocked about now…
It’s a miracle! I finished this month’s book for book club—and I did it about three weeks early (do I get extra credit?!) My secret? I got the book on CDs at my library and listened on my commute to and from work. Might as well take advantage of that down time since I never seem to have time to read (or at least make time for it.) This month’s choice was Happier at Home by Grethen Rubin, where she embarks on a journey to make her home a happier place. I really enjoyed it!
This week, I got an email from Wantable and what do I see? Their eblast included my photo! I totally feel like I have some sort of photography “skillz” right now! Check out Wantable and their awesome accessories, intimates and makeup boxes here.
And this…who can resist an adorable dog snuggling with her toy under a blanket? I mean COME ON! Izzy has gotta be one of the cutest fur babies ever.
I subscribe to Lisa Lillien AKA Hungry Girl’s daily emails and she was celebrating her 10 year anniversary of Hungry Girl a few weeks ago. She asked for submissions of how we are celebrating, and I submitted my Hungry Girl diet blog posts and won the grand prize- a party in a box! I got two autographed books signed by Lisa herself, along with an electronic scale and a bunch of hats, t-shirts, tote sets and coupons! And this is the best part—I am sharing it with you..it’s a Hungry Girl giveaway!
I’m going to pick three winners at random to receive an HG prize pack, which includes:
-Just Chew It!”” t-shirt (size M)
-Hungry Girl hat
-Hungry Girl tote set
-Product coupons for HG approved products like Shirataki noodles, Melba snacks, Quaker oatmeal and Vitatops!

The asian stir fry looks good! I don’t honestly know though!
The stir fry was definitely one of my favorites– she has healthy alternatives to everything from pizza to onion rings- it’s amazing!
Hungry Girl has a Bananarama Wafer Pudding recipe that I love!
That sounds delish! I haven’t found a dessert of hers that I didn’t like!
I love the Pizza-bella recipe- great for pizza cravings!
That sounds yummy! I just saw a garlic chicken pizza recipe from her that I want to try too! Mmm pizza :-)
I have never had a Hungry Girl recipe but the entrees you posted about have looked amazing!
Oh you’d love them! There are a couple not so great ones but the majority are super tasty!
Izzy is too cute! Plus a great giveaway! Just found your blog through the Lauren Elizabeth link-up, it’s really great!
Thanks- I think she’s pretty cute too :-) I appreciate you reading Jessica!
Congrats on winning the Hungry Girl prize! Have you tried their PB and Chocolate Bread Pudding? YUM!
I like the stir fry recipe
That tilapia, shrimp, and salad look to die for! I do love me some fish and sea food :)
Thank you for this great giveaway!
I can’t remember the name of it, but it has only three ingredients. Broccoli slaw, ground turkey and manwich sauce. I add a little extra sauce, and cook longer than instructed, and it is delicious!
I have the Hungry Girl 200 under 200 cookbook and love the snack recipes in there! I also love the foil packet recipes on the website and the noodle-free lasagna!
Great giveaway
I’ve heard great things about the Quest nutrition bars – I’m going to see if they have any of them in our grocery store! Also, I’m really eager to read Gretchen Rubin’s books. I’ve heard fantastic things about them!
