Still looking for a gift for idea for your babysitter, neighbor or foodie friend? I’ve got you covered. I whipped up a batch of DIY Herb Compound Butter and let me tell you—it is GOOD stuff. Well, it is butter, so there’s that. But with the herbs and flavors in these two recipes, it definitely kicks it up a notch.
I made two types: Garlic Herb and Pumpkin Spice. I’ve included the recipes below. We actually made these at a MOPS meeting a while back, so I don’t have the original source of the recipe. I made mine in my mixer and then rolled them into logs, wrapped them in saran wrap and then foil before popping them in the freezer. As a finishing touch when you are ready to gif them, you can wrap them in butcher paper and tie with a bow and serve in a basket with some homemade bread. You’ll probably want to include the recipes too…whoever receives these will want to make more. Promise.
