Happy Friday everyone!
So here it is (drumroll please)…my Friday Faves! Enjoy my favorite finds from around the web and beyond!
Let me know what you think if you’ve watched, used, bought, worn, etc. any of these. I’d love to know what you think!
Favorite ab routine: Total core toner
This “quick & dirty” ab routine takes 5-6 minutes and really wakes up those muscles! I’ve done this routine several times and it is challenging without being too overwhelming/un-doable. (It’s easy to do while you watch TV…you can even break it up and do it during commercials!)
Favorite styling tool: Infiniti Pro by Conair Spin Air Rotating Styler
I LOVE THIS THING! I just got it recently and have been using it every day. This spinning brush adds volume while drying your hair at the same time, AND you can style it too. It makes a HUGE difference in my morning routine, saving time by combining blow drying & styling into one. (I should post a before & after photo….it’s really something!) I have very fine, very straight hair and I’m no good at styling it (I have no coordination when it comes to brushes and blow dryers…it’s quite comical, actually.) But this thing gives me volume and makes my hair sleek & shiny and gives it a shape. I should be their spokesperson! Sign me up for the commercial deal HAHA! Seriously, this little thing works wonders for hair.
Favorite look: Striped dress, jean jacket and boots
I love the striped dress, and it’s a steal at less than $10 from H&M. You could wear the dress lots of ways- switch out the jean jacket for a scarf, blazer, or cardigan…the possibilities are endless!
Favorite Sitcom: Rules of Engagement
My husband and I discovered this sitcom on Netflix and are now hooked. It features a couple that’s been married for 10+ years, a newly engaged couple and a single guy (David Spade.) My husband and I constantly laugh through the episodes. The writers are geniuses…and we relate to a lot of the stuff as a married couple- it’s hilarious! There’s TONS of seasons too…never gets old! Can’t wait to watch some more this weekend!
Favorite Funny: 2013 Someecards Desk Calendar
Ok, so we’ve all seen the hilarious someecards floating around Pinterest, Facebook, etc. They are SO funny and well-written! Well apparently, they make a one-a-day desk calendar with these things! They are so popular that every retailer has sold out of them and these things are going on eBay for $60 or more! GEEZ! Luckily, I just snagged one on eBay for under $20 and I can’t wait till mine gets here! It will be a good laugh a day at the office…my coworkers will thank me for their daily laugh!
Favorite Multipurpose Item: Washi Tape
What is this stuff? It feels like masking tape — very, very pretty masking tape. And it comes in lots of patterns and designs. There are SO many uses for it that I can’t wait to try, but I hope to pick some up and use it in my planner…you can use it the same way you’d use a highlighter since it’s somewhat transparent, so you can use a little tag of tape to draw attention to important dates and write over it.

I’m the weirdo who would prefer to do 1 minute side planks and 30 second elbow planks. I hate elbow planks!!
Also, I’m terrified to use those spinning round brushes. Bad memories of getting my hair caught in round brushes in the past! I have fine hair, too, though so maybe I should get over my fear and try it out.
Yeah the elbow planks even seem to be harder than just using straight arms to plank! And trust me…I felt the same way about my hair getting caught when I first saw it, but you get the hang of it really quick and I haven’t had any issues…yet :-)
