In regards to my clothing budget, I did ok in February. Ok because I may have gone over budget. But also good because I got quite a few pieces on sale or clearance (although not nearly as well as this lady with her AMAZING thrift finds…I’m still jealous over that Burberry coat!)

So here’s the breakdown:
$359.76 Total spent
$152.72 Income earned (eBay, consignment items–I did really well this month and last month and I expect my “income earned” to go down next month!)
$207.04 FEB TOTAL
OVER budget by $7.04.
Thoughts:
-I’m starting to get better and realize where there are holes in my closet and am keeping a list so that I hopefully only buy those needed items. Conversely, after seeing my Feb outfit recap, no more black or white items!
Check out my previous clothing budget months here.
-The three workout items were a large chunk of my budget, but I will definitely get some use out of these!
-My most expensive item was the Loft tuxedo tweed jacket. I rarely spend that much on a single article of clothing, but it is high quality and will go with a ton of outfits (hello, it’s black and white!)

Love the breakdown! I tried listing on Ebay once before but didn’t have a good experience with trying to post. Maybe I will give it another shot.

Thanks Karen! Yes, it really depends on the clothes/brand and such. Sometimes I have better luck with taking stuff to consignment stores! Might get a little less money but it’s a lot less work for me!
You should a post on your ebay tricks! I’ve never tried it (always do Poshmark/Threadflip or consignment shops).
Good point! Most of the stuff I sell on eBay is usually purses or accessories, not a ton of clothing. I think consignment stores or the sites you mentioned might be better for selling clothes, especially if the clothes aren’t brand new or don’t have tags…people get picky on eBay! :-)
I am so jealous of your income earned…haha. I tried to sell some clothes on Store Envy it it has not gone well. Thanks for linking up!

Oh trust me…I probably won’t see that high a total every again haha! Thanks Tara!
Wow! Congratulations on pretty much sticking to your budget! You did fantastic on the items you bought. I have a new pair of yoga pants on my list of things to buy, but since I got a new pair from GapFit in January, it hasn’t seemed so urgent. Great round-up!
Thanks Ana! Yeah yoga pants/workout gear is hard because it isn’t exactly “work clothing,” but I wear the stuff so often that I had to take some of the budget for it!
blazers are always good pieces because they really are so versatile and classic.
love the dresses you got!
Exactly! Love the dresses as well…especially that one from 365 Hangers :-)
Great job on the picks this month. I really love the purple Nike jacket!
