Fave Food Find Lately: Zing Bars

I’ve always been on a quest to find a healthy snack for my whole family. Something nutritious without tons of sugar and clean ingredients. And of course, it has to taste good. I’ve tried several, and either the taste was off, it was too high in sugar or had poor nutritional info, or just didn’t get the stamp of approval from the kiddos.

Luckily, a few months ago, I came across a new bar that kicked all the others to the curb: Zing Bars.

Zing Bars combine two essential elements of all the best snack bars: amazing taste and the benefits of great nutrition. They are the real deal! They are made by professional nutritionists and are plant-based, vegan, soy and gluten free and non-GMO. 


Zing Bars have a proprietary blend of nut and rice proteins, prebiotic fiber, heart-healthy fats, and low-glycemic sugars. The bars are individually wrapped, making them the perfect snack for busy, on-the-go lifestyles. My whole family really love these–they taste great and I’m pretty darn pleased with the nutritional makeup. 

They have a few varieties to choose from: dark chocolate covered and nekkid (no chocolate coating), keto (less than 1g sugar, 3g net carbs, plus healthy fats) and kids (a smaller, 100 calorie size). 



My husband and I love their variety box which features 2 bars each of the following flavors: dark chocolate coconut, dark chocolate mint, peanut butter chocolate chip, dark chocolate peanut butter, dark chocolate hazelnut, dark chocolate cherry almond (my fave!) Each of us can enjoy a variety of flavors in one box that way. My personal favorite is to chill them a bit and enjoy for dessert– decadent like a candy bar! But they are truly wonderful anytime- on the go, for travel or just when you are feeling snacky.
