Fancy Feet: Fibi & Clo [Sponsored]

Ever lust after a pair of designer shoes?  Who hasn’t?!  But I know I am NOT paying loads of money for a pair of shoes…that’s crazy!

Enter Fibi & Clo.  Founded in 2009, Fibi & Clo shoes offer chic designs at affordable prices. In fact, they just launched their first ever flats collection and asked if I’d try out a pair, to which I replied with an overwhelming YES! (Especially considering flats are becoming my friend these days with long days in the office- it’s about comfort, people!)

The flats are simply gorgeous.  Look at that detail!  They could dress up a casual Friday outfit with jeans, be worn for a typical everyday work look like I did below, or could be worn at formal events like a wedding so you can dance the night away!

I chose the Audrey Quilted Black shoes. As soon as they arrived in the mail, I wore them to work the next day.  Let me tell you, they were right when they said the shoe was designed with comfort in mind!  The construction allows for the shoe to mold to your foot, and I went the whole day without any pain, blisters, etc.

Fibi & Clo is a direct sales company empowering women across the country by giving them an opportunity and the freedom to work for themselves on their own time via in-home shoe parties and just recently, now offer their products online. Their styles are unique and designed in the Fashion capital of the world, New York City.

And founders AnaLiza and Michael have a great story on how they brought Fibi & Clo to life.  AnaLiza is originally from Texas but followed her dream to come to New York. But she always yearned for an idea that would get her home without getting in the way of a career she loved.

While at brunch in NYC, she got an idea. What if she developed a line of sandals that she could take to Texas for trunk shows- like tupperware parties, but with shoes? “I realized what a great time I was having at brunch, and that an atmosphere where you are surrounded by friends and food is not only perfect brunching atmosphere, but also perfect for shopping. It would also bring me home more often,” gushes Alba. Just like that, fibi & clo was born.

Michael, her fiance, has experience with major brands and heads business strategy, sales and production.  What a team!

And where did they get the name for the company?  After AnaLiza’s cats, Fibi & Clo.  CUUUUTE!
