It’s no secret that I am a big Everlane fan. Their pieces are high quality, and ethically made. One of my favorite lines that they offer are their GoWeave styles. The obsession first started a couple years ago when I ordered a pair of their Japanese GoWeave track shorts (see them styled here). Since then, they have added several more pieces- from tops to bottoms and dresses, and I am a big fan.
I got the opportunity to review a few of their newer pieces and style some looks for you:
Left to right:
Japanese GoWeave High Neck Tank // Japanese V-Neck GoWeave Tee // Italian GoWeave Easy Pant
What makes the GoWeave pieces so great? The fabric is smooth, light & drapey (but not see through) and it is wrinkle resistant! It is definitely a higher quality than a standard cotton top or bottom, and looks a lot more polished too. In terms of care, the Japanese GoWeave can be washed in cold water and air dried, and the Italian GoWeave needs to be dry cleaned. I use Dryel at home– works great.
Here are the pieces on, each styled a couple ways: a dressier look, and a more casual one.
Outfit details: Top (size 6) / Jeans / Shoes (exact, option)
This top is light and drapey and a gorgeous blush pink color. I paired it with some jeans and my slip on perforated sneakers for an easy, casual look. The top is meant to be a boxy fit and lays really nicely without letting your body shape get lost. Fit wise, if you want it slightly more tailored, I would size down.

For a dressier look, I swapped out the jeans and went for white ones and traded the sneakers for an open-toed perforated heeled bootie. The color of the top is so sweet and feminine and would pair with a lot if you wanted to layer- from a jean jacket, to a black moto jacket or olive cargo jacket (see my post on completer pieces).
Outfit details: Jean Jacket / Tank (old, Tapered Collection) / Pants, size 6 / Heels
Wrinkle resistant and breathable with an elastic waistband…what’s not to love when it comes to these pants?! These are meant to have a looser fit and I like my pants a bit more form fitting, so I went with a 6 and they work well- still plenty of room but not super baggy. I love the front pleating and the pockets. I am 5’5″ and opted to roll the pants once so they would fall right above my ankle versus at my ankle. You can definitely roll them since the elastic band looks the same on the outside vs. inside, and even tuck in a shirt with it. This would look great with a chambray shirt tucked in, or even a tee. The pants can really be dressed up or down, which is the kind of versatility I look for when adding pieces to my wardrobe.
Outfit details: Tank / Pants / Necklace (via Wantable) / Heels
Love the deep purple color of this tank. It has a unique cut at the top versus a standard sleeveless tank top. I was still able to wear a regular bra with it, though I had to push the straps in quite a bit so they weren’t visible. The tank has a back zipper and it a standard (not cropped) length. Next time, I plan to wear it with a front tuck since it has the extra length vs a more cropped top.
I definitely recommend the GoWeave pieces from Everlane. The quality can’t be beat, versatile when it comes to styling and wrinkle resistant- perfect when you are chasing kiddos or sitting at a desk!
