It’s no secret that I am a big couponer. I search high and low to find a coupon code when shopping online and I have a wallet specifically dedicated to paper coupons. Add to that the frustration you get when you find a coupon but it isn’t valid or it’s expired or doesn’t apply to the items I’m buying. Arrrrgh!
Luckily, Chippmunk was created to solve these issues, and to make it easy for consumers to find the best deals when shopping online!
How it works:
1) Start by creating a budget, then search across product categories or coupons by store.
For example, I need to replace my black heels with new ones so I selected the “shoes” category and set my budget to around $50.
2) Once you hit “search,” you get a list of stores that are within your budget that offer shoes.
My list included 20+ stores–some of which I was familiar with, but also some new ones that I had never considered which is always fun! Plus, it lists out all the current, valid coupon codes and sales going on– how is that for one stop shopping?!
3) From there, you discover the deals that save you the most and click through on the stores that you want to shop at.
I ended up going with Shoes.com, which offered $15 off your order AND free shipping! I just clicked on “Start shopping” and a browser with Shoes.com popped up along with a box telling me what coupon code to enter at checkout:
And that’s it! Pretty easy right?! Chippmunk has done all the work for you, bringing you all the best sales and coupons all in one spot!

Oooh, this is awesome! I’ve seen Chippmunk around so often with the contests they’ve been hosting, but didn’t really know exactly what it was…it sounds like a great idea! I’m going to wait to check them out until August is over, since I’m not spending anything in August, so I’ll DEFINITELY flag this post until September!!! Haha!
