I love the look that highlights (and lowlights) give to my hair. But I never seem to have the time to get my roots touched up as often as I should. Normally it doesn’t bother me, but if I have to look presentable in public somewhere, it’s the first thing I see in the mirror or in photos of me…that weird outgrowth before the blonde starts…awkward!
Luckily, there’s a product out there to help remedy that. It’s called Back2Blonde. It’s a temporary root concealer that you just spray at your roots for instant coverage for the day. Instead of a step-by-step tutorial with photos, I tried it out for the first time on camera.
A few things I may or may not have mentioned in the video:
-Comes in light, medium or dark blonde.
-Pigments self-adjust to match and blend visible dark and gray roots. And the natural emollients give hair a healthy shine and rather natural feel.
-It’s recommended that you use it on dry, clean hair by holding the can about 4-5 inches from it. The can should be continuously moved back and forth till the roots are completely camouflaged. If it gets on your skin, just wipe with a damp cloth.
-Let dry for 2-3 minutes before touching, combing or brushing.
-It lasts until you wash your hair. And it’s sweat proof!
-You can use your regular styling products on wet hair prior to applying Back2Blonde. Once hair is dry and Back2Blonde is applied, hair spray can be used.
Gasp…it’s my first ever video for the blog, so excuse the excessive amount of um’s and other phrases I overused. And seriously, why does Youtube pick the most awkward shots to use for the cover image?
