Sure, I love to treat myself with an iced coffee or mani/pedi from time to time, but I really like to treat myself with a new workout outfit. It is great motivation for me (especially in the midst of my half marathon training!), and workout clothes definitely last longer than coffee or a mani.
So a few weeks ago, I tried out Fabletics, Kate Hudson’s new fitness apparel line. As a new member, my first outfit (top and bottom) was $24.95. Read the review here. I did end up exchanging the outfit for different color (see below), and that process was quick and painless.
I really enjoyed the quality and comfort of the carpis and as a result, wanted to get my hands on some leggings for this month. Luckily, Fabletics has an awesome referral program: if you refer two friends and they make a purchase, you get enough member credits for a free outfit. Thanks to some friends and blog readers, I got enough credits for a free outfit…so thank you!
I ended up going with the Versital T and Inga Legging:
The shirt is a little more pink in person (which is fine by me!) and the leggings have a herringbone detail that I LOVE:
And here is what they look like on. (FYI- I went with a medium top and large bottoms.)
The V-neck tee is pretty standard and is a little on the sheer side (I wore a tank underneath in the photos) but I love throwing on tees like this to lounge around the house so it’s good by me. And the herringbone leggings are AWESOME. They are “medium” compression leggings and have a built in pocket on the waistband, and they are super warm and cozy. The inside is really soft and has a fleece-like feel, which was great when I wore these outside (or around the house alll last weekend). My only complaint is that they are a tad bit long (you can see by the scrunching by my ankles), but then again, that’s how it looked on the model too. Overall, I’m loving this outfit and may want to stock up on another pair of capris or leggings next month to treat myself!

Love the gray pants!!!! $25 for both? That’s a steal!
YES! Your first outfit (top and bottom) is just $25! Can’t beat that–even if you just want to try it out!
I love the herringbone detail on the leggings! That is something I haven’t seen before and is super cute!
Me too- that’s why I picked these! Super fun for workouts but also nice enough to wear for errands with my Hunters!
Very cute. I love how workout gear is so fashionable now.
Thank you Agi! I know- it’s so true. In fact, I’m hosting a “for fun” link-up on April Fools Day (April 1) where we all wear our best loungewear/sweatpants look! No fancy outfit posts- just what you wear to lounge around the house :-) Hope to see you there!
Very cute – that outfit looks so comfy!
Oh my goodness- the leggings are amazing! I can’t stop wearing them! They are my after work uniform lol!

CUTE! I’ve been eyeing Fabletics recently and everyone seems to just rave about them. Are the pants compression (aka – have the lulu appeal?!) What a great TYT link up!
They really are a nice quality- especially the capris and leggings. Good for running and last through multiple washes. And yes, they are compression! The leggings are categorized as “medium compression” on their site.

I wonder how these compare to Lululemon- their quality has gone down SO much and I’ve been looking for an alternative!
I’ve never tried Lululemon capris or leggings but Fabletics claims they are comparable to them! I love the capris and leggings I have…really nice and NOT see through :-) Super comfy and nice compression!

even though i either work out at home or outside at 5 am where no one can see me, i still love to buy cute workout clothes…it makes it more fun! i love these leggings and might have to check this out!
I do most of my working out at home too! But wearing something cute makes me that much more motivated. Or when I go for a run with friends or do a group fitness class, I want to have something besides my ratty t-shirt to wear :-)

OMG! These are the EXACT same thing as my lulu pants.
Can’t wait for you to rock them out at the barre with us soon!

No way! That’s so interesting that Fabletics is making dupes off Lululemon– they are definitely advertising that they are of comparable quality! Looking forward to trying out Pure Barre soon and meeting you!
