Happy Friday! This week, I’m sharing some of my favorite kids-related things I’m loving. Take a look…

WATCHING / The Axel Show
This series on Amazon is so great! The episodes are 15-20 min and feature Axel, his sister and Dad showing their love of adventure with real construction trucks and toy trucks for kids. The creativity and things they do with their toy trucks is super fun to watch, even for me! Evidently, they have been making play-based and educational adventure videos for kids since 2014. Looks like a Tonka truck will be going on this year’s Christmas list… :-)
USING / Gut Connection Kids*
Did you know that 70% of the entire immune system is found in the gut? A healthy guy is a major factor in kid’s growth and development, so not only does good digestion start in the gut, but so does a good mood, a healthy immune system, energy levels, and sleep. Gut Connection Kids is a chewable specifically formulated to support immune, digestive, and cognitive balance. Bryce loves the polar bear chewables in the Immune Balance, and I love the extra peace of mind I get knowing he gets that prebiotic immune support. PLAYING / Rocket Launcher
We are big fans of this stomp rocket launcher at our house. It’s lots of fun to see the rockets shoot up in the air, almost to 100 feet! The rockets are all foam and they also make a glow in the dark version if you want to see them at nighttime. It makes for a great birthday gift too! Just a heads up though– you might want to order a replacement pack to go with it in case you land one of the rockets on the roof or in the trees (guilty….)
CREATING / Glow in the dark tape
For you parents out there that are out of quarantine craft ideas, try some of this thin Washi style tape! We first started using it in a Melissa and Doug workbook kit, and this glow in the dark version is next level! It doesn’t leave any sticky residue on the floor or toys. We use it for crafting, making lanes and roads for trucks, decorating the boy’s bedroom doors, you name it!
WEARING / Cat and Jack
Now that the temps are changing with fall approaching, we quickly realized that Bryce has outgrown all his pants from last year. Target’s Cat and Jack line is my go to for pants, t-shirts, underwear, socks, etc. They have all held up well (even Blake is rocking those hand-me-downs from Bryce and they look good as new!) The pants are cut so well for Bryce, and the price point can’t be beat. I was in Target the other day and checked their clearance section– great end of summer finds if you want to stock up for next year! (Also, honorable mention on kids clothes goes to Sam’s Club and Costco. They carry some great brands at great prices!) Check out this post on a capsule wardrobe for your littles.READING / Junior’s Adventures Book Set
We gifted this set to Bryce for Christmas last year (we are huge Dave Ramsey fans), and I have to say that Bryce is constantly pulling these from his shelves to look at and have us read to him at bedtime. The illustrations are vibrant and the stories are SO good, and teaches them how to handle money from working and saving to giving and spending. Highly recommend!
