Lately, I’ve been craving a space and reason to share some of the products, podcasts, recipes, and more that I’ve been loving. So each week (or month?), I’ll be sharing my favorite things I’ve bought, listened to, used on myself/home, recipe and book and/or article to read. Hopefully this is a fun, inspiring little weekly round-up!
TO USE / Resistance Bands. I’ve used elastic ones in the past, but the quality of this fabric set is AMAZING. I’ve been incorporating resistance bands into my workouts and let me tell you- it is legit! So sore…
TO WATCH / Hallmark’s Flower Shop Mystery Series. I am a self-professed lover of Hallmark movies, and I was so surprised to learn about this Flower Shop Mystery Series! Back in college, I ran a student-led PR agency and I helped the author with the PR when she first wrote these books! They are such a fun, light read, and the setting takes place in my college town. I couldn’t believe that they were made into movies now– so cool!
TO TRY / Peloton’s Fit Family Brain Break workouts. The boys and I LOVE to do these quick 5 minute videos. They definitely get your blood pumping and Jess Sims (one of my favorite instructors) was a former educator and makes it so fun with listening games to hold their attention.
TO EAT / Sheet Pan Shrimp Boil. So easy, minimal clean up and all done on 1 tray for a delish dinner that is a bit outside of the regular recipe lineup. Followed up by homemade peanut butter cups for dessert, of course :-)
TO READ (OR LISTEN) / Full: Food, Jesus and the Battle for Satisfaction. After following Amanda’s journey, I listened to this book and found it very eye opening specifically in terms of my addiction to sugar. (Also ready to pre-order the new Skinnytaste meal prep cookbook as well as Emily Ley’s newest book!)

I would give this PPE kit to my father.
I would give this to my friend Jill because she works at Walmart and cares for her mother at home, and I worry very much about her safety and well-being.
