Hope you had a nice weekend! Today’s remix features my teal blazer, which seems appropriate given St. Patrick’s Day (and this week’s Pinned It and Did It Challenge from Style Journey). I took these photos before I got the new camera, so apologies for the awkward Instagram selfies. But hey, everything looks cooler with an Instagram filter, am I right?!
This first look is a favorite of mine- perfect for spring! I paired the teal blazer with a pink striped peplum top that I bought from Ginny and a black pencil skirt. I definitely got a lot of “you look so springy!” comments at work…
This look features the teal blazer with a navy/teal/gray tunic blouse and dark trouser jeans that I picked up from my Savers shopping extravaganza! I love the trouser jeans…if you can pull it off at your office, it’s a nice alternative to dress pants!

I love the green and pink combo! Both outfits are great though! Now you made me want a green blazer :)
Green blazers are so much fun and can definitely be worn past St. Patrick’s Day…just go with a teal/turquoise one and then it won’t be as “Irish” and be more versatile!
I LOVE the bright color of that blazer! It’s certainly perfect for Spring!
I love a fun pop of color- especially ones that remind me that spring is near!
I am a sucker for a good blazer and this one is PERFECT! Love the color, love how you styled it both ways. Seriously you just can’t do wrong!
xo
Thank you so much Justyn! I like that it is a teal/turquoise color and not St. Patrick’s Day green…makes it more versatile in my opinion!
I love it when people dress “springy.” Bright colors make me happy! :)
Me tooo! I think I need an orange blazer now that I think about it ;-)
Love it. Such a great colour on you and perfect for Spring.

Thank you Agi! I love wearing these colors this season!
I like the teal and pink! I have a similar blazer that i have trouble styling, and pink isn’t something I have tried! Your blouse in the second one is gorgeous!!
I think I saw that color combo on a celebrity or something…love teal and pink together! Have fun remixing yours!
I’m pretty sure I need a teal blazer in my life :) And you totally look springy! Gah, spring is almost here and I am so ready!
I am SO ready too! Maybe if I continue to wear bright, fun colors, it will come sooner!? One can only hope!
You do look very springy! Lovely color scheme you’ve got going in these outfits!

Thank you Lauren! Gotta embrace the spring…if it will hurry up and get here!
Both of these looks are so adorable! I especially love the pink and teal together!
Thanks Rachel! This is definitely one of my favorite spring color combos along with mint/coral!
Those trouser jeans look really nice! I’ve never found a pair that fit me quite right (stupid pockets) so I just go with bootcut or almost flare legged dark wash regular jeans :-)
Yeah the pockets can be iffy on me too- half the time I leave the stitching closed up on them so they don’t poof out…helps a lot. But then again, I don’t get pockets. Boooo!
Hahaha, I have some pants that I did that with, too. And then my husband is like, “Why can’t you use your pockets….?”
I like that teal blazer a lot! Both looks are great but my favorite is the blue with the teal blazer.
Thanks Carrie! The navy and teal work well together, and can transition into fall/winter too!
I would honestly be scared about a teal blazer, but you make it look so easy. Very inspiring and I’ll have to keep my eye out for a good one! Thanks for sharing with manic monday!
I think the key is making sure it’s teal and not too green to remind you of St. Patrick’s Day or what the winners of that high-profile golfing tournament is (The Masters?) Clearly, I’m not a golfer :-)
I love teal.. it is a beautiful color and one that I could wear without disappearing (LOL!) Great pairings both with pants and skirt :)

Thank you so much! It’s a fun pop of color for sure!
Cute! Teal is such a versatile color and I really like the ways you’ve paired it. Thanks for sharing your remix with us, Valerie!
It’s been so much fun finding ways to remix my clothes- thanks for hosting!
it’s funny because when i saw the small pic in the link box on heather’s page, i just assumed this was ginny’s post!! i love the peplum top on you!
That’s too funny! Well it makes sense now– a Ginny clothing item, just on a different person :-)
Just FYI: on St Patrick’s day I wore Mint + black, as inspired by you! and I have a teal blazer too! But no navy to go with it…so unfortunately I can’t copy this pairing quite as exactly, but I do love the color combination and that blouse is sooo pretty. I always like the prints you choose. :) Thanks for linking up again! Always glad to have you back!

Aww I love it- thank you!!! :-) You are so sweet Gina!
Dang, girl, you look so great in trouser jeans! I desperately need a new pair – the pair I had before was so loved that I literally wore holes into them. Yikes! I am going to try to hit up some thrift stores in the next couple of weeks in hopes that I can find a pair that works for me! :)
