Something about the color grey just seems a bit more casual or relaxed than other neutrals like black, brown or navy. And that was certainly the case with this outfit:
Necklace: One World Boutique
Sweater: Eddie Bauer Outlet
Watch: NY&Co Outlet
Jeans: American Eagle
Boots: Steve Madden via TJ Maxx
Since I worked from home on Friday (I would have worn this for “Casual Friday”, but instead I wore this outfit on Saturday.) I judged at a debate tournament most of the day, and this outfit proved to be incredibly comfy, but still looked like I put some effort into it.
And for those of you that aren’t familiar with debate (I judged Public Forum debate that day), check out an explanation of this particular event here. These high schoolers are incredibly talented, and it’s always so fun to support them and learn a thing or two about current events. The topic I was judging on was Resolved: On balance, the Supreme Court decision in Citizens United v. Federal Election Commission harms the election process. It was really interesting to hear the pro/con sides of the resolution. I hope to judge at the State Debate tournament in March (and I hope I can observe a round or two in policy debate, which is the event I did in high school. I remember when we went to the State Debate tournament…oooh the memories!)
