~OVER budget by $61.36 Wa waaaaa!
So this month was clearly all about the workwear purchases. I still have a few basic business items on my list, including caramel colored dress pants and/or a skirt, black (comfortable) heels, and perhaps a white button up shirt (although I can never find button-up shirts that fit over the bust all that well! Hrmph.) And although I did go over budget quite a bit, but I feel like most of these purchases are good pieces that will last a while and can be remixed lots of ways!
How did you do this month? Which purchases do you like from my budget?

I love the pencil pants! Great closet staples.
Thanks Lindsay- I agree! I think I might get one more pair in a lighter color for sure- can’t go wrong!
I love all the things you got Valerie and even though you did go over budget you got some great basic pieces that will be very versatile.
Thanks Agi- that makes me feel better :-)
Super heart that scarf!
I can’t tell you how many times I’ve worn that scarf already! Something about the colors and pattern!

All of those will be great for your new wardrobe needs! I’m thinking I need to go back to the Outlet and get me some new Limited pencil pants. They look great on everyone so far.
I think so too! Yeah the pencil pants are great– they had very limited sizes at the FOC so I had to order it while I was in the store. Worth it though.
I might have to pick up another blazer for that price!
I have a few button up shirts in my closet that I bought thinking I would like them. But yeah, they don’t work on my bust very well. I like how clean they look on others and that’s why I’m always tempted to buy one, and then I end up never wearing it.
I am thinking about it myself…they really are nice quality. I bought it as part of a sale where if you buy 2 or more, you get 25% off but even at regular price ($34.99), it’s awesome! And I am totally with you on the button up shirts!
