Save vs. Splurge // Quilted Vest

I’m a sucker for a good quilted vest. It’s a staple in my wardrobe (and many others that live in the Midwest, I’m guessing.) A plain, classic quilted vest goes well with just about everything, but a fun pattern like plaid is always a festive touch.

For solids: I found one nearly identical to the $120 J.Crew version. It’s from Sam’s Club and it’s under $25. I own it in cream (styled here) and it also comes in navy, red and black. It’s made of real down too.

For prints/plaids: J.Crew and J.Crew Factory have a variety of fun patterns and plaid prints for over $100 each. But Old Navy is killin’ it with a cheaper alternative at $34 (and that’s without a promo code or sale…so it is likely cheaper.) It also comes in a red plaid that I’m smitten with.
