D’Orsay flats are a twist on the standard ballet flat. With a capped pointed toe and cutouts on the sides, they are chic, minimalist and modern. While the flats above come in several colors and prints (like leopard!), I focused on the classic: basic black.
J. Crew makes a suede version at nearly $100, and it’s counterpart J.Crew Factory has a similar version for a bit less at $89.50. I bought these and ended up returning them because I found a much cheaper alternative at Target that flattered my feet much better, and it was a fraction of the price at $22.99. Yes, it isn’t suede like the others, but after a season or two of wearing these, walking outside and getting scuffed up, dirty, etc. I’m good with the cheaper option knowing I’ll subject them to some wear and tear.
