Happy Monday! I’ve got two items of business for today’s post. First is my workout log from the past week:
Workout log for July 29-August 4:
July 29: 5.01 miles, Time: 46:48, Pace: 9:20
July 30: rest
July 31: 2 miles, Time: 16:20, Pace: 8:10 + 3 miles with Katie right before the super creepy storm came rolling in!
August 1: 1.25 mile walk with Izzy, arm weight circuit (3x), vacuuming/mopping like a madwoman (I worked up a good sweat!)
August 2: Jillian Michaels’ No More Trouble Zones DVD
August 3: 8.04 miles, Time: 1:16ish, Pace: 9:29
I was supposed to run 11 miles according to my Fort2Base training plan, but I had a sore throat and my body was just sore & tired…plus, my watch was beeping “low battery” as soon as I started my run, which I took as a sign that I was ok to do a shorter run :-) I ran in my neighborhood and came back to my house for a break at mile 8, thinking I would just drink some water and have some energy chews and finish the last three miles, but then I sat down and didn’t have it in me to get back up! I suppose those days happen, right?!
