Calling all old and new Everlane fans! Back at it with another review this week for a fun piece I have been eyeing up lately: the linen jumpsuit.
Sizing notes: I am 5’4″ and ordered an 8, and it fits well. The shoulder straps are adjustable, with 3 options to button the straps into place. I also love the thickness of the straps- perfect to wear a regular bra with. The fabric is linen so it wrinkles easily, but it is very breathable so makes it perfect for warmer weather. There are belt loops to hold the tie belt into place if you want to wear it (I opted to because I feel it defines the waist a bit more.) There are two side pockets, and one back pocket too, very functional. The modern square neckline, cropped straight leg and elasticized back really make it a chic yet classic piece.
Investing in quality pieces like those from Everlane is something I’ve started to do (see all my reviews here), and I feel that all their pieces are high quality, classic and versatile. Even a jumpsuit. That’s why I’ve got styling ideas on how to make this jumpsuit work across seasons!
4 Ways to Style the Everlane Linen Jumpsuit
Shop the look: Jumpsuit / Shoes
First things first- this jumpsuit can really stand on its own! The tie waist is a fun detail, and I added a delicate necklace and pointed toe heels to elongate the leg. You could do a beautiful red heel like this one for a pop of color, or add some statement earrings too! Perfect for a summer event like a graduation, party, date night, you name it.
Shop the look: Jumpsuit / Sweater / Shoes
Layering is such an easy way to transform an outfit. It’s easy to do with the jumpsuit having short sleeves. I added my trusty Everlane sweater over it and it looks like a sweater/pant combo. Cozy, dressy and perfect for cooler temps!
Shop the look: Jumpsuit / Sweater Blazer / Shoes
This is a more polished look with the sweater blazer layered over and the bow peeking out. I added leopard heels for some texture and pattern to make all the neutrals work together. This would definitely work for the office!
Shop the look: Jumpsuit / Striped Tee (similar) / Shoes
I thought I’d try layering UNDER vs over, and it works! It kind of reminds me of overalls, but less 90s :-) So fun!
So go grab yourself a jumpsuit and give it a try! Everlane also makes them in long sleeve, short sleeve and sleeveless in other fabrics like my favorite Japanese GoWeave material.
