I love this fun pink peplum top that I got back in February. I’ve mostly worn it layered under a blazer, like I did here. I also realized that I completed reversed the colors in a similar outfit post. Have you ever done that?!
Crap…and now the Missy Elliott song “ Work It” in my head…put my thang down, flip it and reverse it…
Except I’m singing “Put my outfit on, flip it, and reverse it.” Ooooh geez. Bad joke. Sorry about that!
Anyways, which color combo do you like better: green skirt/black blazer OR teal blazer/black skirt?

You did flip it and it totally works! You wear this so much better than I did :)
Thanks for selling this little beauty! :-)
I love it both ways! And I try to do that a lot because it is so easy to make new outfits that way with color combos you already know work well together!
I need to do it more…makes outfit planning SO much easier!
Adorable! Now that I am back in my pre-pregnancy clothes, I am trying to inventory my closet and make sure I have cute staples for next school year. You are definitely my inspiration!
Way to go lady!!!! Woo hoo! You make me blush :-) So sweet!
I like it with the green/turquoise jacket!!!!!

Thanks Agi :-)
I really like both outfits! It looks really good with the turquoise blazer, but I really like it with the green skirt too!
Thanks Maria! Either way, I’m digging the color combo…so fun!
This is why I want to own all my clothes in the same colors for both top and bottom. And preferably in pants and skirts, too. Because it makes outfit making so much easier :-)
Good call! Less decisions to make when it comes to an outfit is always better! I bet a 30×30 challenge would be a breeze if everything was the same color!!
I love that you flipped the two colors accidentally – it just goes to show that they look good together. I love pink and green together too – such a great outfit!
It was a weird deja vu moment when I realized I had worn something similar but it totally works! Thanks Ashley!
I do this all the time! It’s an easy way to slightly remix an outfit that you already know works. I like both outfits!
Exactly! I can’t believe I hadn’t done it sooner…I’m a bit behind! Thanks Inge :-)
Pink and dark green work well together. Love your stripey peplum top too. I have just started following you, I will leave my link in case you are interested.
