I wore this outfit to church on Sunday, which was followed by our annual church picnic.  I wanted to wear an outfit that was still dressed up but casual enough for the picnic, and this Target striped shift dress did the trick along with jacket since it was a little cooler out.

For the first time in a while, I even curled my hair for a loose wave.  (It’s a small miracle, people!) But really, my beauty routine has been lacking a bit lately.  I rarely put on makeup (unless I am going out in public, in which case it’s just the basics, aiming to pull off Kate’s “Fresh in Fifteen” look).  My hair is usually just washed every other day and left to air dry.  I do love keeping up with my beauty routine, and there are a few things that are pretty easy to make time for that make a big difference and make me feel my best: semi-regular hair cuts + color, eyebrow shaping/tweezing, painting my toes, and teeth whitening.  Each of these tasks doesn’t take a ton of time, but they leave me feeling so much more refreshed and put together!
