So, today I wanted to breakdown the personal care products I’m using these days. I aim to keep my collection of products pretty simple, made of quality ingredients and streamlined because less stuff = more money, more time, and more space. So, if you’re looking for a few ideas on what you might be able to cut out or simplify while still getting the job done, hopefully, this post helps!

Let’s face it: there are a TON of options out there when it comes to hair, but so many of them contain silicones, parabens, and artificial colorants. I don’t want these harsh ingredients and chemicals in my hair so I searched for something with better ingredients that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg. Enter Nature Box™ products.

The new Nature Box™ products contain 100% cold-pressed oils from coconuts, avocados, apricots, almonds, and macadamia nuts. They are on a mission to help you unbox your naturally beautiful hair and skin. They have 5 product lines made with sustainably-sourced ingredients that are vegan certified. Nature Box™ works on a project in India to help farmers sustainably plant, cultivate and harvest guar, which is the thickening agent in Nature Box™ products, among other projects!
I got Nature Box™ 100% Cold Pressed Coconut Oil Shampoo and Conditioner from Amazon. This line is formulated for hydrated hair, which I need these days. I shampoo and condition my hair every few days and have been using these as my go-to’s. Not only do they smell divine, but I love the pump for controlled product use (anyone else squirt out way too much product from a bottle? What a waste!) I also love how they work: they lather really well and make my hair feel so hydrated afterward. Usually, I let my hair air dry and it gets brittle, stringy and just sad and limp. But this Nature Box™ S & C legitimately makes my hair feel so fresh and saturated with moisture as I let it air dry. On the occasions when I do blow dry, I find that I don’t have to use any other products in my hair beforehand and it brushes/styles through so easily since my hair is so full of moisture. Win!
I use the Nature Box™ 100% Cold Pressed Almond Oil Body Lotion, which is aimed for sensitive skin. Mine skin gets a bit temperamental during the dry Chicago winters. This body lotion uses a non-greasy, refreshing formula that resembles a body butter and leaves my skin feeling soft and smelling good!

The past few months or so, I’ve ditched the counter full of potions and products I’ve been using since I hadn’t seen any impact on my skin and opted for some more natural options. I keep them in small, travel-sized containers since they come in large jars or bottles, and I don’t want to clutter my bathroom counter. Plus, when I’m traveling, it’s easy to just pack up and go!
I use a pure/organic version (so it doesn’t clog your pores). It’s obviously great for hair but is great for skin too from face lotion to makeup remover. I put on a little bit before bed and it soaks in since it’s so hydrating. It seems to help cut down on breakouts. I use this at night and rub it on like a cold cream, then wipe it with a washcloth before adding a little more to hydrate my skin. It’s good, simple stuff…and cheap!
I use this to wash my face. It’s simply soap with no extra ingredients or fillers and a little goes a long way. It can also be used as shaving cream!

Thank you for this article on Nature Box – I just picked out several bottles of this as a Body Wash because it was on a super sale at a drug store. Looking forward to using them!
