If you missed my recent post on my favorite workout and athleisure brands, you’ll know that I live in leggings on the daily. And I definitely pair them with some fun sneakers…
So I did a little poll on IG stories asking if you want to see my faves, and many of you did- so here it is! My collection keeps growing it seems, so I’m breaking down my absolute favorites and why. Here we go!
New Balance Fresh Foam Sneaker (Navy Blue): These sneakers are fun to wear out and about- with jeans, and generally pair these with outfits that don’t have black in them. They tongue is continuous and feels more like a sock, which I like and they have a low profile, so I wear no show socks like these. Plus, the cognac accents on them give them less of an athletic look and more of an athleisure look, which I love.
New Balance for J. Crew 620 Sneaker (Cream/Gold): I got these beauties off of Poshmark (use code VPSTYLE23 for $10 off your first purchase there!). I love the light cream color and gold accents, and adding these shoes in an outfit always makes me feel more put together. They really lighten up a look, since I feel most of my leggings, jeans, etc. and can be dressed up or down easily.
Nike Free RN 2 Running Shoe (Black): I had this type in aqua/pink and then bought a more classic black pair recently. I use these to run indoors and out and love the support. Plus, the solid black looks fairly classic when I am traveling and need to pack light but want a casual shoe- they double as great support and are my workout shoes too.
Nike Tanjun Shoe (Blush Pink): My Mom actually bought these and passed them on to me (thanks Mom!) The blush pink is SO gorgeous, and they are super foamy and padded. So comfy! Pairs well with my trusty olive cargo jacket and jeans or leggings– I often reach for them as part of an athleisure/casual look.
Athletic Works Running Sneaker (Black/White Dot): These are dupes off the new Adidas Swift Run shoe that retails for $85! I found these beauties at Walmart for under twenty bucks. I love the pattern and color scheme- pairs well with the colors I wear most! They have a foam lined sole and they are pretty darn comfortable so far!
Nike Epic React Flyknit 2 Running Shoe (White): I wear these beauties for my indoor workouts- from treadmill to strength training. They are made for floor and running workouts, and are a continuous knit shoe, so it feels like you are just wearing a sock. Extremely comfortable, supportive and fun!
As for socks, I go with the no show socks for low profile sneakers, but for workouts, I always reach for my Bombas socks. They are the BEST quality and have a great mission. Get 25% off with this link!

When you use the links I share with you to make a purchase, I make a small commission (but it doesn’t cost you any extra money). It’s like giving me a tip for my styling ideas, except the companies you buy from are the ones paying for it. I always want to be open and honest with you about those things so I thought it was a good time to call that out! I never want you to buy things you don’t need, but if I help you find something your wardrobe is missing and can show you how to wear it in a way that you’re excited about, I really appreciate you using my links—it makes it possible for me to be a stay-at-home, work-at-home mom and it means the world to me. Thank you for your support!
