I’m sure you can relate…for those of you working from home/quarantining, you can’t resist the gravitational pull of the kitchen for a snack, am I right?!
I’m sharing a roundup of some of my favorite snacks that span salty, savory and sweet that I like to keep stocked in my pantry or fridge.
Whether it’s an after school snack, road trip supply, Netflix/sports accompaniment, family movie night or just a little pick-me-up, I’ve got ya covered. Here are some options that you won’t feel guilty about later since these snacks are all comprised of a simple, clean ingredients.
Drinks: Tazo Wild Sweet Orange Tea and Bubly Sparkling Water
If you want something a little more flavorful without the calories, I’m a big fan of sweet tasting options like this tea or any flavor of Bubly, my favorite sparkling water out of the brands I’ve tried!
Apple with nut butter
Many a nights on Whole 30 last month, I loved to end the night with a sliced apple and a scoop of almond butter. SO tasty!
Mixed Nuts
An easy, on the go option with lots of protein that keeps you full. I did a price comparison on them at a couple stores in this post.
Lara Bars/ RX Bars
Another easy option to pack for a road trip, in lunches, etc. There are literally only a handful of ingredients, and are super clean with no added sugars or fillers.
Protein Packed Peanut Butter Cups
When that sweet tooth strikes, I make my own peanut butter cups that have protein powder, and taste SUPER good vs. a Reese’s PB cup. Find the easy recipe here.
DIY Protein Bites
Another make ahead recipe that is just a few ingredients and customizable to your tastes. Perfect to keep a stash in the freezer or fridge and ready in minutes! Find the recipe here.
Love Corn*
These are crunchy corn kernels that are packed with flavor, made with plant-based ingredients and are vegan, GF and sugar free. Perfect for kids lunch boxes, after school snacks (and healthier vs chips or crackers), and also good for adults– makes for a great addition to a charcuterie board, pairing with beer/wine and a Netflix show or even as a topper for salads and soups!
