So if you’re like me, new workout clothes definitely keep me motivated to stick with my fitness program. And with 2016 literally on the horizon, I’m sure all of us have some sort of health/fitness related resolution or goal we are aiming to stick to. I say if it helps inspire or motivate you to get some new leggings for barre class or a tank top for the gym, go for it! And if you’re looking for a fun way to incorporate new pieces into your workout wardrobe, you gotta check out Wantable.
I’ve talked about Wantable several times before (they offer makeup, intimates, accessories, style and fitness subscriptions- and I’ve tried all of them!) And their new Fitness Edit is so much fun!
So, how does it work?
Beyond a detailed profile you create (including price ranges), you can provide your stylist with a Pinterest board link, special notes and even request specific items via their new Stream service featuring product and customer photos that you might like. Then, for a $20 per month styling fee, a Style Editor will handpick 5 items for you to try on at home. Then you can take 5 days to try on the items to decide what you love and what you’d like to return. You’re only billed for what you keep, and the $20 styling fee is applied to what you keep as well. They include a return label to make it easy and convenient!
So what did I get? Well, I requested a few specific items from the Stream and got them- sweet! And I got a few items that were very similar to what I requested as well as a couple other surprises but generally, I loved what I received!
Let’s get down to the specifics, shall we?
First up- Pointe Studio Lightweight Workout Socks-set of 3 ($36)
I requested these (I owned some previously) and love the fun, bold prints. Wish these had sticky soles for barre class (they do make these!) but otherwise great with arch compression and a cushy ankle rest.
Next up is the Solstice Sports Bra in black and white stripes ($45).
I requested this and was SO pleased to get it. Super flattering and such a fun print! It goes nicely with the tank top below (or any other tank) and the stripes peek out from underneath just enough. It’s not super supportive (so no running if you have a larger chest), but perfect for low impact activity. The wide criss cross straps are so comfortable and there are pockets to insert bra pads if you want.
Next was the Primsport Legging in python print ($86). Although I loved the moisture wicking fabric with a wide waistband that doesn’t roll down, the print wasn’t my style.
The Antimatter Jacket from Lukka Lux ($128) was just gorgeous. I requested a black zip up so my stylist sent one over. It fits beautifully– very sleek/streamlined look with bubble mesh on the back and faux leather details and copper zip hardware. Nice to throw on after a workout to hop in your car or run an errand. But for me, the price point was outside of my range. Also, it’s cut to be very fitted so you might want to size up.
Lastly was the Stellar Tank from Lukka Lux ($48). The wide faux leather looking straps and super soft jersey fabric give it a contoured fit and is quite comfortable. Works well with the striped sports bra or any colored sports bra peeking out!
So there you have it: the Wantable Fitness Edit. Some fun items to refresh your wardrobe to fit your style…and hopefully your inspiration and motivation for your fitness goals! Plus, how nice is it to try this stuff on in your own home? No lines, no traffic, the right sizes…I could go on and on.
What would you have kept?

These are great items! I really like the sports bra! I am not sure I could bring myself to wear snakeskin print work out pants either though!
I LOVE that sports bra….and it was incredibly comfortable too! No way on the snakeskin for me either :-)
This is so tempting! Since I’m at the gym almost every day I’ve been trying to upgrade my fitness gear. But, I just committed to spending less money, not more!!
Ahh I know I am supposed to be your sponsor, but workout gear is so tough versus “real clothes.” Since you (and I) wear them so often versus say, a pencil skirt or new dress, I feel like if they truly need to be replaced/upgraded, I think some stuff here and there is ok. Bad influence, I know- right?!
The past few times I’ve used my Shopbop credit I’ve ordered workout gear. So, that helps a little bit :-)
