There’s something very noble or “ivy league” about maroon and navy (and cream/camel.) Makes me think of preppy school uniforms for some reason. Anyways, I took these colors and created an outfit that was cozy and office appropriate. The peasant top is sheer and very lightweight, so adding the cocoon sweater was perfect (and emphasizes the bump, I might add!)
Oh, and the heels? Don’t let them fool you. In all honesty, my feet are too swollen to fit into my heels, and anything elevated sounds terrible right about now. I just happened to have these upstairs where I take my photos. I’m in flats all the time now.
Just keeping it real, folks.

You are looking stylish and lovely even on the last weeks of your pregnancy. Ready for the baby yet?
Ada. =)
Thank you so much Ada- so sweet! And yes- I feel like I am ready to meet our little guy…these last few weeks seem to be crawling along!
I love this color combination, and we must have been on the same wavelength today because I have a navy and cream vest on over all black with maroon boots! Great minds, right? :)
No kidding…twinkies! Great minds indeed :-)
I just love maroon. It’s such a great color and pairs well with so much! This looks adorable on you!
I really love maroon and navy together too (and throw in some camel and it’s a match made in heaven!!). I love how cute your bump looks here with the cocoon sweater :)
Thanks Brynn- cocoon sweaters really seem to flatter the bump, which I’m all about flaunting. :-)
