Puppy dogs & polka dot Sperrys…
Happy Friday! I’ve collected a few “links & loves” from around the interwebs that I thought would be fun to share…
This fall weather makes me want to make this cheesy turkey taco chili mac (and bonus: it’s a one pot meal!) And for dessert? This recipe for PB2 Chocolate Chip Cookies, since I bought giant packages of PB2 on Amazon. Gotta use it somewhere, right?!
This article on the 6 types of parents you’ll always find at Target. I think I’m a hybrid of #1 and #4…
If you haven’t seen Hipster Barbie’s Instagram account, you need to follow it now. It’s overflowing with sarcasm, and I love it.
Saw this review on the book How to Raise An Adult: Break Free of the Overparenting Trap and Prepare Your Kid for Success. Putting this on the reserve list as the library! Has anyone else read it?
Since I clearly have an unhealthy obsession with planners, this Buzzfeed article hit me good. Impressive, I tell ya.
On the style front:
- I’ve always been so intrigued by capsule wardrobes. This blog has a great capsule series/challenge for women that are pregnant- a time when a capsule wardrobe is PERFECT!
- This white tunic remix is great for fall and is part of series where the blogger will share remixed looks for fall staples each week.
- If someone would like to send me these booties in a size 9 in black, that would be lovely. :-) The criss cross straps would definitely make my large feet look a little smaller (at least that’s what I’m telling myself.)
Capsule wardrobes are awesome! I made one for my maternity wardrobe and I loved it. I’m definitely doing again when I’m on leave and then again back to work!
You did great on yours lady! I think it will be smart to do two more capsules for these different times because you will want casual/nursing friendly stuff on leave, and then items that are easy for pumping (if you decide to do so) and possibly in an “in between” size as you get back to your old self!
Haha! I have read the Target parents article review before. It’s hilarious and totally true!
They totally nailed it..and there should be an overarching statement for the parents that they assume they will ALWAYS walk out with more stuff than they anticipated to buy. Every time.
