T and I recently received our first invite to a co-ed baby shower for our friends (they are expecting baby #2.) I was scratching my head on what to give as a gift beyond the standard case of beer and box of diapers. Since I love making tiered towers and did one as a housewarming gift, I figured I’d make one for the shower too, and it turned out SO cute!
Here’s what I used…feel free to get creative and add things:
-2 packs of diapers
-6 pack beer (preferably one that is baby-related…T was in charge of this. Three of our friends are expecting their second babies and I’m making a tower for each of them. He found beer called “Sidekick, Two Brothers, Wobble, etc. You get the idea.)
-package of wipes
-small bottle of wine or champagne (again, baby-related. We went with Barefoot for the cute label.)
-optional: other small items like bubbles for the older sibling, toy for the baby, etc.
-bow, ribbon, gift tag
-packing tape
Putting it together is pretty self-explanatory. I used packing tape to secure the items to one another and since everything is fairly flat, it all stays upright pretty well, so hot glue wasn’t really necessary (plus, it’s just cleaner without.) I added ribbon at the beer and the topper to tie it together, added a bow and a gift tag with a funny saying.
It was a hit at the shower, and so fun and easy to make!

I love this idea! You can never have too many diapers and the beer/wine will come in handy! :)
Exactly!! This was so fun to make.
