I consider myself to be a deal hunter. I try to save money wherever possible and stick to our budget. And now that we have a baby, sticking to our budget is a necessity! So I came up with a feature called “Frugal Friday” to bring you some of the best deals I’ve found recently. I’ll try to make it a weekly thing, but it depends on A- what deals are out there and B- if I get time to blog about them! (This may turn into a “Savings Sunday” post, but I wanted to share these deals before they are over!)
Regardless, for this week I’ve found two great deals: one for cheap razors and free movie tickets and another for Quest Bars and Bob’s Red Mill products!

My favorite place to shop (besides clothing stores, obviously) is good ‘ol CVS. And right now (through Sunday), they have a sale on Schick disposable razors. I love the Schick brand, and don’t really care if my razor is a men’s version– it all does the same thing! But not only can you get cheap razors…you can get free movie tickets! Check out the deal:
Select Schick disposable razors 3-12 ct. on sale for $5.99
Deal Scenario:
Buy 2 Schick Xtreme3 Refresh Disposable Razor 4 ct. for $5.99 (or other types, depending on what is available..check out this link for participating products)
Total – $11.98
Use the $4/1 Schick Disposable Razor Pack coupons found in the 6/28 SmartSource coupon insert from the Sunday newspaper
Use the $3/1 Schick Men’s Disposable Pack coupon found in the 6/14 SmartSource coupon insert
Or the $3/1 Schick Disposable Razor printable coupon found here
Then, save your receipt and head over here to get a code valid for a free movie certificate for 2 admissions (up to $20 total value) to see any movie when you buy 2 participating Men’s Schick or Edge products in a single transaction between 5/25/15 and 7/10/15. (You must redeem the movie tickets by 8/31, FYI.)
So…get two packs of razors + 2 FREE movie tickets for around five bucks- can’t beat that!
And now for food…are you a fan of Quest bars or Bob’s Red Mill products? Then this deal is for you!

Fun post! You are such a great bargain shopper!! I don’t find time to shop these days unless it’s for food or baby stuff… oh well! That vita cost is an AWESOME deal though–
There is an awesome deal at Target this week for baby stuff…spend $200 get a $40 gift card, and there are deals you can combine (diapers, Aveeno, etc.) to get even more gift cards…I’m stocking up this week!
I love deals like this! I wish I had more time for stuff like this! I think there is a good Suave deal at Target that ends tomorrow, too!
Some people can get pretty crazy with it and it can be super time consuming- I just follow a few great sites and pick and choose the good stuff :-)
Awesome shopping, Val! I stopped my deals on Friday Finds b/c I wasn’t getting too much love on them. Maybe I will link up with you on this once a month??
That would be awesome! I hope I can keep up the content on a regular basis…should be do-able!
