With 2013 off to a start, I thought I’d offer some weekly-recurring content that consists of a collection of my random likes, laughs, wants and more. I’m going with the ever-popular title: Friday Faves. (I really can’t think of anything super catchy at the moment.)
That said, please enjoy my favorite finds from around the web and beyond, in this week’s Friday Faves!

Favorite Cozy Clothing: Victoria’s Secret Drape Cardigan
It’s currently on clearance as part of their semi-annual sale, and I am loving the black/gray stripe one, but it’s not available in my size. Boo! It would match with so much- from black leggings to colored denim!
Favorite Jewelry Splurge: Gorjana’s Griffin Parker Leather Wrap Bracelet
I first saw this on Erin from Loop Looks and have been smitten with it ever since! I usually don’t wear bracelets, but love that this will fit any size wrist and will lay flat so when I’m at work, I can type at my keyboard without the bracelet clanking on the desk! So pretty!!!
Favorite Funny: PubLIZity
As a former downtown Chicago PR girl, I got a kick out of these two “PR pros” of PubLIZity Public Relations pitch a new client in this skit from Comedy Central’s “Kroll Show.”
(And please, don’t think this is really what the PR world is like. It’s just funny…and very “Real Housewives”-esque, which I love.)
Favorite TV Show: Biggest Loser
I’ve always been a big fan of this show, and took a little break from it for a few seasons because it was getting stale in my opinion, and Jillian wasn’t a trainer. But now that she is back and they’ve changed it up a little bit with the children ambassadors, I think I may be hooked again! Seriously, I laugh at Jillian’s bossy comments about puke and I cry as contestants share their stories. It’s SO good (although I could do without the cheesy product placement/sponsorship stuff…yes, we know you all love Brita, Extra, Subway, etc. etc. etc.) Plus, I’m on a mission to meet as many of the contestants as I can…so far, I am at 3.5, which includes Michael, Marci and Jackie. I didn’t really meet Dan Evans, just saw him perform with his band, hence the .5
Favorite Side Dish: Garlic Roasted Cauliflower with Toasted Asiago Bread Crumbs
As I mentioned in my “Blog Love” page, I LOVE Skinnytaste.com. This recipe looks SO delicious…I think I need to try it this weekend! This would work well with broccoli too. I LOVE roasted vegetables…and then if you add garlic and cheese?! WHOA.
