Happy Friday! Check out this week’s Friday Faves:
1. Coordinated a photo shoot for headshots and stock photos at work- I officially have a nice headshot to use! Woo hoo!
2 . Great cross-marketing…got me to buy it! Free nail polish offer and yummy Vanilla Almond Special K- genius! #knowyourtargetdemo
3. Starting to look for office/basement decor. Loving this moroccan print rug from Target!
4. Put a bow on it. LOVING this vintage ring- very Kate Spade if you ask me!
5. Izzy is ready for spring! (This bow/flower actually came with the package from #6 below…)
6. Nothing like coming home from a crazy work day and finding this little gem in the mail. Thanks NYC Recessionista and Epiphany Chocolates! Party in my mouth!
Today is the last day of the Pantone spring color challenge. This was fun to come up with outfits with such different colors! Today’s color was poppy red. I honestly didn’t have a single red item in my wardrobe except for a tank top but luckily I picked up this cardigan at Target as part of my April budget (budget recap coming tomorrow!)
Shoes, dress, cardigan, necklace: all Target! (Hmm- can you tell I have a slight obsession?!)
And here’s my Pantone recap from earlier in the week:
Monday | Tuesday | Wednesday | Thursday
What’s your favorite color from the week? Which outfit do you like best?

Thanks Laura- yeah I try to vary it up with my poses- sometimes it’s hard to come up with stuff!
Those chocolates look amazing!!
Oh trust me…they are! Party in my mouth!
Monday and Wednesday are my favorites! And I love your cute little bow ring.

Always Maylee
Thanks Yi-chia! I could seriously wear that ring all the time!!
you look so great in all of these bright colors! i love you especially in red!
Aww thanks so much! Yeah I love the red too- can’t believe I didn’t have any of it in my wardrobe prior to now!
You did SO well this week! I would wear every single one of your outfits. It’s too hard for me to pick a favorite :) I’m really glad you decided to link up with us. I hope you continue to stop by. I know I will be looking to you for outfit inspiration!
Thanks so much– that makes me so happy! :-) Thanks for reading and have a lovely weekend!
Love the pop of red! Pretty rug… I actually have a fabric tote bag with a similar pattern in turquoise and cream from 1154 LILL Studio that I got during a past trip to Chicago. Enjoy the chocolates… they look scrumptious!
I LOVE 1154 LILL! I got a bag from there and love it! Are you in Chicago often? (And yes, the chocolates were DIVINE!)
I love Chicago but don’t get to visit as much as I’d like to now that we live in Oregon… (we used to live in Michigan). So much great shopping and food in your city!
Haha, I totally love Target, too. I REALLY love those Target wedges, but I didn’t want to pay full price for them. Last time I was at Target, they were still full price :( Bummer!

I think all their wedges are on sale this week- just saw their circular…I’m a bad influence :-)
Great outfits this week! I love that all of them have different silhouettes.
I like the Tuesday outfit! Blue is my favorite color :)
I love that particular hue too!
i love your recap, thanks for joining marissa & i during our challenge! red seems to be a color not many people have much of in their closets, but i’m glad you had something you could wear to participate with us!

Anytime Heidi- it was fun! (Yeah I was glad I added the red cardigan to my wardrobe– such a great color!)
