Change the Conversation with WaterWipes

I can’t believe Bryce will be 8 months old in a few days.  It seems like just yesterday we brought him home from the hospital, so tiny…and now he looks like a little man, full of personality and exploring the world around him.  Incredible.  And 8 months into motherhood—I’ve learned a lot about myself these past months, and have found my title as “mommy” to be rewarding, challenging and awe-inspiring all at once.

For the past several months, I’ve also been fortunate enough to be a WaterWipes Ambassador.  As a new momma, I was going into uncharted territory, relying on advice from friends, (some) online recommendations, books, and other resources…but all I knew was that I wanted the best for Bryce.  And one of those things is WaterWipes.  I’ve shared my love of this chemical free European brand that is a safe and natural as it gets—made with 99.9% purified water and 0.1% grapefruit seed extract.  Not only has it been wonderful for Bryce to clean up life’s messy moments, but it’s nice knowing exactly what is in a product that I am using with my son.  I’ve used it in so many instances—for diaper changes (and not needing diaper ointment!), for cleaning his nose and hands, and even for removing my own makeup and for cleaning Izzy’s paws, to name a few.  I’ve shared it with friends and fellow mamas, and I’ve shared it with you on the blog. It’s definitely a product I have come to know and love.

And the brand itself is one I can get behind.  I love how they describe a WaterWipes Mom: “She wants the very best for her little one. She knows the rewards and challenges of being a Mom and is chemically-conscious when it comes to the products she chooses for her family. But she is not ‘preachy’ about these beliefs.” AMEN!

In fact, instead of listening (or not listening) to all of the judgment that is going on out there in the world, WaterWipes encourages you to look at what is right in front of you and have a conversation with your baby.  If they could talk in those first few precious moments of life, what would they say to you? Bryce might say something like:

“I have the best Mommy in the world- you care for me, feed me and love me unconditionally.  Believe me when I say you are doing a great job. I hope you can tell that by the smiles I give you since I can’t talk just quite yet.  I love our time reading books together, splashing in the bath, having bottles and having you rock me to sleep and snuggle with me. I plan on doing a lot of growing, and it will all go fast, but know that I cherish it as much as you do and am soaking up every moment. I love my Mama with all my heart!”

So thank you for reading (and thanks to the folks at WaterWipes for the great opportunity!), and for watching Bryce grow as I do, and hearing about my adventures in motherhood along the way.  It’s been such an incredible journey, and we are just getting started!  I can’t wait to see how Bryce grows and develops…and being his mom has been the greatest pleasure and blessing in my life, hands down.

Cheers to you fellow Mamas.  Motherhood is a tough gig with late nights, dirty diapers and the like, but we all just want the best for our littles at the end of the day…and seeing a big ‘ol smile makes it all worth it!
