Pants: Old Navy | Top: Loft Outlet (also worn here) | Necklace: Wantable (see review here)
Hope you had a wonderful weekend! Ours was jam-packed, but it I’m ready for one last work week before we leave for our babymoon in Florida! I’ve got a bunch of things to do before then, including some serious packing that needs to be done ahead of time since I have some off-site meetings at the end of the week. Even though the weather won’t be terribly warm (we’re talking 60s), I’m still excited to get some Vitamin D and have my sand in the toes! Definitely bringing my fun new maternity swimsuit, this maxi dress I got for Christmas and this great jacket I got from Shopbop to wear at night for an extra layer. I’m also in search of some books on tape for both T and I to listen to on our drive down there. What good books have you read lately that you think both of us would enjoy?
PS- Back to Chicago weather-related bits. I’ve been oogling over these beauties from Sorel but they are out of stock and are crazy expensive on eBay. Anyone know of websites where I should be looking?
Oh yes, and my outfit. I love this black and white blouse. This time, I added my maroon cords for a bit of color, along with a drop necklace and LOVE how it turned out. Comfy and warm, yet still put together. Or at least I’d like to think so!

This is a simple but polished look. It looks like the baby is getting bigger and bigger.
Thank you Ada! Yes, baby is growing day by day…so exciting!
Love the pants. You’re looking great! Sorry to hear it’s going to be cooler for your trip but at least it isn’t uncomfortably hot. Have a great trip!
Thanks Kelly! I’m totally fine with it– and that will mean we will likely have the beach to ourselves with the Floridians in their parkas haha!
Those cords look fantastic with this outfit! Your bump is starting to pop and it is super cute! Even temps in the 60s sound amazing right now. I hope you have so much fun!
Thanks Laura! Yeah even today’s temps feel downright balmy…I’m a fan!
Oh girl, I can’t quit wearing black + white + maroon together…it’s a combination I’m so smitten with! I love the outfit you put together as well – that top is very pretty, and I love the necklace with it!!! I hope you two have a great babymoon!!
I need more maroon in my life! I think an infinity scarf in maroon would be super versatile. You have so many cute looks in those colors!
