Happy Wednesday! Today’s 5 Days 5 Ways link up focuses on accessories. So instead of showing you how I styled one accessory five ways, I styled a few different accessories, including necklaces, belts and scarves.
So here you have it…first up is necklaces. Clearly, I love bubble necklaces. (I wonder if my future kids will think that these necklaces were as awful as shoulder pads and big bows were in the 80s…hmm.)

And to prove that I am not a bubble necklace freak and can indeed switch it up, here are some other outfits with necklaces. BAM! (Consider this extra credit above the 5 ways to style accessories.)

And now onto belts…a great way to add some definition to your waist!

And lastly, the scarves! Perhaps one of my favorite accessories–a definite must-have if work in a chilly office or live in a place with a cooler climate…
So there you have it! Hopefully you’ve got some inspiration on how to use accessories to add a little somethin’ somethin’ to your outfit!
Which looks do you like best? Are you more of a necklace, belt or scarf kinda gal?
Come back tomorrow for 5D5W: Dresses! And check out my other 5 Days, 5 Ways posts: tops, pants.

Once I can fit in my normal clothes, I’d love to do something like this! I love the outfits you put together :-)
Thanks Maria! Accessories are super easy to do even with a baby bump :-) Your outfits are fab– I hope to be as stylish as you if I have kids!
Great post. Love the necklaces!!! Don’t forget about my link up tomorrow. HOpe you can join me.

Thanks Agi- I will be there!
So many cute outfits! This post definitely shows how much accessories play into an outfit!
Oh absolutely- accessories can totally make the outfit! Thanks for reading Rachel!
It’s all so cute! Love it :) I think my favorites are the green necklace/lace look (I want that necklace!) and the navy dress with aqua and the belt.
Thanks Erika! I love my teardrop necklace! There are some cute ones from blogger Caroline G: http://www.carolinegshop.com/category/jewelry
I’m totally a necklace and scarf gal. I occasionally wear belts but since I’m so short waisted sometimes they make me look oddly proportioned.
The scarves are so perfect for Chicago when you don’t know what the weather will do! And I’ve seen some of your outfits with belts and you pull it off great! A skinny belt is better than a thicker one if you are worried about the proportions but you could totally pull it off!
You definitely have a knack for accessorizing. I really love that scarf with the coral sweater! So pretty. Thanks for linking up!
Thanks Alison- I really appreciate it! The coral pops works so well with it being so bright!
Oooh, I like how creative you got with this post! I’m a big fan of bubble necklaces and scarves–there’s just something about them that make an outfit, right?

Thanks Whitney! They totally complete the outfit! I hope those bubble necklaces stay in style for a long time because I LOVE them!
All of the above! I used to rarely wear accessories, but since I started blogging, I have really embraced the possibilities! It’s so fun to see the different ways you style everything!
So glad you liked these looks Andi! Yeah blogging has really made me aware of my lack of accessories sometimes…a nice eye opener!
I try not to play favorites with my accessories – I adore them all!
I know right? I want to give them all equal love and attention- it’s like trying to choose your favorite child or pet! HAHA!
Love it all! So dang cute!
Thanks Ana! :-)
I admire your use of belts! I’m very belt-shy, but I love how they look on other people and I have a ton of them… Time to start bringing them out!
I featured a leopard scarf in yesterday’s 5D5W challenge, and one of my outfits looks very similar to one of yours – how fun! :)

Thanks Brynn! Glad you got some inspiration- can’t wait to see how you rock your belts! And that’s too funny- our looks are really similar (great mind think alike, right?!) :-)
