I thought it’d be fun to look back and share my top five or so favorite things across categories like eats/drinks, fitness and home. Here is my first roundup of my top five most notable eats and drinks this past year!
1) GOODLES Mac & Cheese*
I LOVE a good bowl of mac & cheese (I literally grew up on it as a kid), and my kids certainly love it too. It’s easy, satisfies even the pickiest of eaters and is universally loved by all. But not all mac & cheese is created equal. A majority of the brands on the market aren’t very nutritious at all. But I discovered GOODLES Mac & Cheese and I’m sold. The taste on all their varieties is legit delicious and tastes like REAL cheese, and I love that my family is getting a nutritious option, since it’s packed with 21 nutrients from organic plants. It also contains 25% fewer calories than the leading brand of macaroni and cheese and has 14 grams of protein and 6 grams of
fiber per serving as well as prebiotics, and no GMOs, artificial colors, artificial flavors, or preservatives. (What?!) Sure, the price tag is a a bit higher than the blue and yellow box, but knowing it’s much better for you, I’m willing to stock my pantry with this stuff!

2) Lillie Eats and Tells
I stumbled upon Lillie Eats and Tells on Instagram and our family is LOVING her recipes. They are so delicious, made with regular ‘ol ingredients and are really good for you! She includes macros in her recipes, which I’ve found to be helpful as I dabble in tracking them too! She sells physical/digital cookbooks and also releases recipes on her website. Favorites include Green Goddess Grilled Chicken, Loaded Smashed Potatoes, Brownie Baked Squash Oats and Easy Lean Chili Mac.
3) Collagen Peptides
I’ve been putting two scoops of collagen peptides in my morning coffee, and it dissolves and is tasteless yet is a great source of much needed protein. It has worked wonders for my hair and nails. I’ve seen people add it to smoothies and bake with it too! It’s on my Amazon subscribe & save and has become a pantry staple!
4) Tazo Tea
It’s become a bit of a ritual when I wind down for the day once the kids are in bed with a hot cup of tea and either a Netflix or a book. I’ve always been a fan of the Wild Sweet Orange variety, but they have a dessert line and it’s SO good! Big fan over here.
5) Built Bars
I have a huge sweet tooth, and these Built Bars are super tasty, high in protein and low in sugar. They have the taste of a candy bar without the taste of a traditional protein bar, yet all the protein of one and only 130 calories! They have a TON of flavors and even a variety box you can order to try all their flavors. I literally have one every day. Perfect as a snack or after dinner treat.
